MESSAGE TOPIC: DEALING WITH FINANCIAL LIMITATIONS (1&2)

SERVICE OBJECTIVE(S):
1. Understanding the necessity of financial liberation/freedom
2. Understanding what it takes to deal with financial limitations/hardship
It is made abundantly clear throughout Scriptures that God is interested in the financial welfare/success of His people (3 John 1:2; Job 36:11).
It is made abundantly clear throughout Scriptures that God is eternally committed to the financial welfare of His people (Ps. 35:27; 37:25-26).
There is no earthly parent who is excited or interested in the hardship of their children, not one! And our Heavenly Father is more interested in our welfare than any earthly parent
Every father under heaven is interested in the success of their children; God is no exception.
WHAT IS THE IMPORTANCE/NECESSITY OF FINANCIAL LIBERATION?
1. You are able to fulfil personal goals, visions and aspirations with the availability of adequate resources (Prov. 29:18; Eccl. 9:10)
Where there is no vision the people perish but where there is no provision, the vision perishes
2. You are able to fulfil Kingdom vision and global Gospel saturation with adequate resources (Zech. 1:17; Ps. 122:9)
3. You are able to be a blessing to your generation and impact the lives of the less privileged with adequate resources (Gen. 12:2-3; Prov. 19:17)
4. You are able to serve God freely and worship Him powerfully/excitedly without the distraction of lack or scarcity (Joel 2:26; Mark 12:29-30)
5. You are able to adequately represent God and bring Him glory with your results and impact when you have adequate resources (Isa. 61:9; 60:1-3; Phil. 4:19)
Your life brings glory to God with adequate resources than without
Your success is more evangelistic than your utterance
KEYS TO BREAKING FINANCIAL LIMITATIONS:
1. Possess relevant revelation or insight concerning God’s financial plan for His people (Isa. 60:1-5; Gen. 14:22-23; 1 Chron. 29:10-14)
Every realm of glory with accompanying wealth is attracted by light; income answers to insight
What you know determines what you show’ people behave according to their knowledge
There is something that you should know that will draw wealth in your direction
Depth of revelation will determine weight of possession
When you pass through financial revelations in scripture, you become a financial commander, a financial colossus
You need a loaded mind and a loaded heart to have a loaded hand.
2. Change your mindset on financial resources (Prov. 21:5; John 6:5-6; Ps. 132:1-5; 1 Chron. 29:1-5)
2a. Think beyond survival; think plenty/abundance (Prov. 21:5; John 6:5-6)
What does not cross your mind does not cross your life
Stop thinking about what to eat or wear or drive; think in terms of a generation to empower
The way you think affects the way you live
What will you do if money is not a problem? Begin to think about it.
2b. Possess vision that is beyond yourself to connect with resources that is beyond yourself.
When you think beyond yourself, you begin to live beyond your size and beyond your time.
3. Function under Open Heavens through the tithes (Gen. 14:18-20; Gal. 2:2; Heb. 7:6; Mal. 3:8-11)
Abraham tithed by revelation; revelation takes you up (Gen. 14:18-20; Gal. 2:2)
At the point of the tithe, promises are converted into blessings
The tithe connects the resources of man and its source in Heaven
Everything opens for the man who functions under open heavens
4. Break hard grounds and generate harvest through seeds and sacrifice (Gen. 8:20-22; Zech. 8:12; Ps. 126:1-5)
Seeds and sacrifices have the capacity to break hard grounds
Seeds and sacrifices have the capacity to lift curses
Seeds have the capacity to turn around captivities (Ps. 126:1-5)
5. Change financial attitude and practice (Prov. 21:20; Gen. 26:1-3; Prov. 24:27; Gen. 47:15-21,23)
For financial limitations and hardships to be broken/lifted there must be a change in financial attitude
There must be a shift from an expenditure mindset and lifestyle to an investment lifestyle and mindset
Stop looking for what to eat/use, start looking for what to invest.
Put money in what will bring money first before you put money in what will take money (Prov. 24:27)
Investment is superior to enjoyment; let enjoyment come out of your investment.
Don’t be in competition with anybody, you are not anybody’s mate; let God determine your size per time!
Be in competition only with yourself; determine to defeat your last level per time.
When money comes your way, use in this order:
1. Your Kingdom obligations
2. Seed to sow the field (Investment)
3. Food for yourself, household and little ones
Seed will bring bread but bread cannot bring seed
6. Connect and receive Divine direction (1 Kings 17:13-16; 2 Kings 3:16-17; 2 Kings 4:1-7; Luke 5:4-6)
Divine direction, especially in times of scarcity is key to liberty
Divine direction is key to financial liberation
If you want to know, you must press to know (Hos. 6:3)
Divine direction is the channel of Divine provision
Divine direction is cure for financial limitation
The same way God leads a person into ministry, in that same way God will guide you into your own line of business
If you must locate still waters you must be guided by the Shepherd (Ps. 23:1-2)
7. Confront every known limitation of your life and destiny by the power of God (Lev. 26:13; Zech. 1:18-21)
7a. Identify the limitations of your life and destiny and deal with them at the place of prayer through the Word (Lev. 26:13; Zech. 1:18-21)
7b. Connect with the ministry of your prophet to break the limitation (2 Chron. 20:20; Hos. 12:13)
Your prosperity is tied to the assignment of your prophet
CONCLUSION:
1. Financial liberation is possible
2. You must release aggression in order to take your possession (Matt. 11:12)
PRAYERS
Father, thank You for Your Word to me today. I have received Your Word and I believe my life can never remain the same; thank You for this Word and thank You because it is established, in Jesus Name.
Father, I come before You today to reject every yoke of limitation, every financial limitation on my life and destiny, every altar of limitation, every blood sacrifice fighting financial resources in my life, every spell of empty handedness in my life, today I reject you and refuse you. Every altar fighting my resources, today I command you catch fire now!
Father, we ask that You will release the carpenters of God to scatter every horn that has come to bend my life and destiny; Oh you carpenters of God, go forth and scatter these horns of the gentiles NOW in Jesus’ Name!
Father, we pray for the judiciary in our Nation, Nigeria. We ask that You will release upon them the Spirit of judgment to deliver the right judgments in this season, Lord in Jesus Name – Isaiah 28:5-6.
Father, we ask for the drastic manifestation of Your judgmental power against the wicked in our Nation in this season. Arise in judgment, Lord, so that our Nation can learn righteousness in Jesus Name – Eccl. 8:11; Isaiah 26:9.
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
– What you are going to carry from here today, anywhere you step, evil altars shall closed
– You shall live and fulfil your days!
– Anywhere your resources are, God will cause you to see them!
– Receive Divine direction in Jesus’ Name!
– I prophesy, everything they have done to limit your life and destiny, the yoke is broken! You shall cross and exceed the limits of your fathers and go where others have not gone!
– May God give you the kind of results that will make people follow you to church and turn your community to Jesus Christ!
– The relevant revelation/direction that you need in your life is released now!
– May God show you the services or career that holds your resources!
– Today the carpenters of God shall work in this service and any horn of the gentiles that says you should not lift up your head shall be scattered by the carpenters of God!
– Whatever has made your life and destiny small, today it is lifted!
