Living Faith Church Prophetic Focus for August 2021:
THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD, I SHALL NOT WANT
Turnaround greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Without any doubt, every Winner must have had some definite encounters with the Holy Ghost, through our various services, our personal fellowship with God and in the pursuit of Operation By All Means. May the experience of each one of us in the just concluded month of July become a reference point for many years to come in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
But what is the Holy Ghost saying for the great month of AUGUST 2021? From scriptures, we understand that Divine Direction is a vital key for believers to make the most of their adventure on the earth. As it is written, “they thirsted not when he led them through the deserts: he caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them: he clave the rock also and the waters gushed out.” (Isaiah 48:21).
We saw how Jesus was ever led by the Father and how He commanded breakthrough and diverse turnaround order of testimonies till He fully delivered His mission – John 5:30; John 8:29
As we all know, there is a way that seems right to a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death – Proverbs 14:12; Proverbs 16:25
This is why, we are commanded to trust in the Lord always and not to lean on our own understanding, so He can continue to direct our path – Proverbs 3:5-6
We need to be continually guided because misdirection can be most costly, if not deadly – Jonah 1:1-17; Exodus 13:17
Furthermore, we should understand among others, that:
1. We serve an ever forward leading God – Exodus 14:14-15; John 10:4-5
2. God will always destroy barriers on our path when He leads us – Isaiah 45:1-3
3. Kingdom giants are mostly the products of divine direction – Joel 2:1-11
I. We saw how God led Abraham to generational greatness – Genesis 12:1-4; Genesis 14:14-20; Galatians 3:29
II. God led Isaac forward till he became the envy of the strongest nation of his days – Genesis 26:1-14, 16-30; Galatians 4:28
III. God led Elijah forward by opening a new chapter to his ministry – 1 Kings 19:9-20
Moreover, when we are continually guided, we become like a watered garden and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not. That is, when we allow God to shepherd our lives in truth and in deed. Only goodness and mercy will keep following us all the days of our lives – Isaiah 58:11; Psalm 23:1-6 .
Therefore, the Prophetic Focus of the Month of August 2021 is ‘THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD, I SHALL NOT WANT’ (Psalm 23:1-6; Isaiah 48:21)
