PEOPLE ON THE ALTAR SLEEP WITH PEOPLE THEY ARE NOT MARRIED TO – Bishop David Abioye

TODAY PEOPLE ON THE ALTAR SLEEP WITH PEOPLE THEY ARE NOT MARRIED TO.

MUCH OF WHAT IS HAPPENING TO THE CHURCH TODAY BEGAN ON THE ALTAR.

A SANCTIFIED ALTAR IMPLIES A SANCTIFIED CONGREGATION.

TODAY PEOPLE TELL LIES ON THE ALTAR.

THERE IS NO REPENTANCE.

PEOPLE EXAGGERATE UNNECESSARILY.

THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AN ORATOR AND AN ORACLE.

I DON’T THINK OF MINISTRY AS MUCH AS I THINK ABOUT GOD.

MINISTRY IS AN ASSIGNMENT AND BEFORE YOUR ASSIGNMENT IS YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD.

IF YOU DON’T SERVICE YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD, YOU WILL LOSE YOUR LIFE AND LOSE YOUR MINISTRY.

MINISTRY IS NOT MY LIFE, GOD IS MY LIFE, MINISTRY IS ONLY MY ASSIGNMENT.

– Bishop David Abioye at Dunamis International Gospel Centre International Ministers Flaming Fire Crusade 2021 Day Four, Evening Session.

Heavenly Father we want to thank you again because your presence is already here.

Thank you for this wonderful gathering of ministers and the impact since it’s commencement.
Thank you for your servant upon whose heart you have laid it to host this great meeting.

Thank you for his wife and for the entire family of the Dunamis, Father we thank you.

Lord as you have been doing since the day it all began, send us your word again and let everyone of us be impacted in Jesus mighty name.

I bring greetings from God’s servant Bishop David Oyedepo, his goodwill and presence is here and in case you are in doubt you can look at me here.

The same spirit is at work in both of us, actually I am representing him here.
The theme of this conference as we are all aware is ‘The Rain Of Revival’.

That rain has been falling for several days now, I am not only teaching, I will also be giving impartations.

Tonight briefly I want to share on what is captioned – PROVOKING AND SUSTAINING REVIVAL BY KINGDOM SERVICE.

It’s not enough to have revival, you must also sustain revival.
The word  revival is gotten from the word to revive. To revive means to bring back to life something that is dead or about to die.
On this wise, we can define revival as spiritual awakening.
It is not everybody, particularly ministers that are revived.
There are many ministers today that are nothing but empty carcass and decoration on the altar.
There is a difference between being an orator and being an oracle. You can be sound in oratory, what that does is attract applause but an oracle is the one that speaks the mind of God per time.
The evidence of Spiritual Awakening is brokenness of heart, contriteness of spirit, repentance from spiritual slumber. It must begin with us ministers.
One of the greatest hindrance to revival is unconfessed sin.
People on the altar have their hands soiled with evil –  sleeping with people that are not your wife, exaggerating on the altar, stealing God’s money.
We must repent and not use confession of faith to cover confession of sin.
Joel 2:12-27
Much of what is happening to the church of today began from the altar.
A sanctified altar will product a sanctified people.
What comes to the church today is allowed from the altar. If the altar carries fire the congregation will carry fire.
If you are not revived, you cannot revive people. An unrevived minister cannot revive the congregation.
How do you know you are in a revival?
1. When your heart begins to pant after God and the interest of His kingdom not after ministry.
Today many people have left seeking God to seeking ministry.
You can succeed in ministry and not make heaven. Be careful. If God could use an ass, then he shall use any person and jettison him.
The big question is how well is my heart panting after God?
I like to give you a little test that you can carry out tomorrow morning.
When you wake up in the morning, what is the first thing you think about it?
The way you know that you heart is panting after God is when he is the first thing you think about in the morning.
I don’t think of ministry as much as I think about God.
Ministry is an assignment and before your assignment is your relationship with God.
If you don’t service your relationship with God, you will lose your life and lose your ministry. Ministry is not my life, God is my life, ministry is my assignment.
Don’t die for ministry, due for pursuit of God.
Panting after God is how many of us started our journey, many of us never thought we will be in ministry.
We were thinking God, talking God, relating with God and it is showing today.
2. When you begin to take pleasure in the things of the kingdom with all your resources – physical, mental, financially.
When nothing else matters to you unless to use your resources for God. Today if you check the budget of many ministers and their prayers is how to drive car, how to be in a class above others, how to use manipulation on people to give. So he remains a beggar for things and is not in a revival.
