WHEN YOU EAT THE BREAD OF THE HOLY COMMUNION WITH FAITH, YOU GET HEALINGS

1 Corinthians 11:23-25.
This month we are talking about, “THE WONDERS OF GOD,” and this time we are talking about his everlasting arms. When we talk about his legs, we showed us that long legs stand for influence.
Everlasting arms there stands for involvement. When we want to say, “are you involved?” another way of saying it is, “have you a hand in the matter?”
When we are talking about God, one of the things we know about his everlasting arms is that whatever he touches becomes a wonder. John 6:5-13.
When he touched bread, it became a wonder producing article. The last night before he was betrayed he took bread and that bread became something that he called, “his body” that is going to be broken for you by stripes. Up till today, by his stripes we were healed. The bread of the Holy Communion is not an ordinary bread because it is the bread that the everlasting arms had touched.
That is why when you eat it with faith, you get healings.
John 2:1-11. He got involved with water. The water became wine; not ordinary wine but the kind of wine that the Master of Ceremony had never tasted before – extraordinary wine. Scientists tell us that at least 75 per cent of the body of a man is water.
It will be difficult for those of us who are not scientists to believe but when a man dies, if you allow him to rot you will discover that the flesh will change to water. By the time the water had flowed away, what is left of man is approximately 25 per cent of what was there before. 75 per cent of your body is water and when the everlasting arms comes in contact with that water it can become wine and it will not be ordinary wine but the heavenly type of wine.
So when we come to the table of the Lord to take the bread that he had touched and the wine with which is involved, we are coming for a transformation that can only be called Wonderful.
Wonderful healing, Wonderful health, Wonderful strength, Wonderful ability. That’s why he warned those who were there that first night and he is repeating the warning through Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 11 – “Don’t partake unworthily.” The one who partook unworthily on that night – Judas Iscariot, left that place to go into the night and he never came back into light.
Don’t treat the Holy Communion as ordinary meal – it is not! It is very powerful – powerful to heal, powerful to transform lives, but just like electricity (electricity is called power because it has power to give light, it has power to give heat, it has power when properly channeled to turn heat to cold, it has the power to make fan rotate, et cetera.) It also has power to kill.
Be careful that you are a true child of the Almighty God before you partake of the Holy Communion. Be careful that you have nothing against a brother, the body of Christ when you want to take the Holy Communion Service.
Examine yourself tonight. If you’re not a true child of God you can become one by surrendering your life to Jesus Christ.
If you’re a backslider, you can be restored if you step forward and ask Jesus Christ for restoration. But make sure you don’t partake of the Holy Communion unworthily.
