MESSAGE TOPIC: THE WAY OF VISION

SERVICE OBJECTIVE(S): Understanding what it takes to move from vision to fulfillment
THINGS TO NOTE:
1. The most reasonable way to begin anything is to begin it with God
If you don’t know what you want you won’t know when you will see it and you won’t be able to see it.
2. The next most important necessity of anything is called vision
WHY IS VISION IMPORTANT?
1. What you define determines what you can discover
2. The road you choose determines the road you will end
3. A life that is left to chance has no chance
4. Divine function happens at the frequency of human vision (Gen. 13:15)
What man sees determines what God gives
5. The vision of today is the reality of tomorrow
To begin with vision is to end with reality
WHAT IS THE WAY OF VISION?
1. Identify the vision (Hab. 2:1; Matt. 6:33)
1a. Identify God’s plan, purpose or desire for your life for the season
1b. What result or outcome do you desire to accomplish in this season?
It is preferable in the journey of vision to start from the spiritual to the physical (Matt. 6:33)
1c. Identify the destination or direction you desire for your life to face
2. Possess the vision (Hos. 4:6; Prov. 29:18; 1Cor. 9:16; Philip. 1:21; John 9:4; 18:37)
2a. Become united with the vision
2b. Possess the vision and let the vision possess you
It is what drives you that determines how far you will go in life
2c. Let the vision become the reason for living (Hos. 4:6; Prov. 29:18; 1 Cor. 9:16; Philip. 1:2; John 9:4; 18:37)
3. Document the vision (Hab. 2:2)
3a. Writing the vision is the first step of bringing the vision from the invisible realm into the visible realm
3b. Vision gains life when it is documented
3c. When the vision is written, it gives rise to the possibility of reviewing
3d. When the vision is written, it gives rise to the possibility of action
3e. Writing the vision impacts seriousness and commitment to both the vision and the visioner
3f. Writing confirms belief and possibility in what is in the heart
3g. Writing gives rise to the possibility of progress measurement
4. Simplify the vision (Hab. 2:2; Gen. 30:37)
4a. Make it easy to understand, make it clear
4b. Break it down into achievable bits and sizes
When you succeed daily consistently, you will succeed annually eventually
4c. Focus on daily victories and daily victories become weekly, quarterly and annual victories
4d. Turning the vision into picture (Gen. 30:37)
Vision is the seed of reality
What you don’t see coming will never come; what you don’t perceive, you will never possess; what is not a reality inside you, can never become a reality in your life
5. Review the vision (Hab. 2:2; Matt. 6:22)
5a. To review the vision is to refire the passion
5b. To review the vision is to run with the vision
When you revisit the vision, you reignite your passion
Until somebody is serious nothing becomes glorious
5c. Vision review activates wisdom, ideas and inspiration for realization and actualization (Matt. 6:22)
5d. To review the vision is to revise the approach
Vision is a constant while approach is a variable
Vision is a constant, approach is a variable – the constant is that you want to do something and
the constant is how you do it; what is your approach?
Don’t take the failure of approach as the failure of vision
The approach may fail but the vision can succeed with a change of approach
What is most important is not how you got there, but for you to get there; not by crooked ways
What is backing you determines what you can face
PRAYERS
Father, thank You for Your Word to us today. To You be all the glory Lord, in Jesus Name.
Father, I ask that You will help me to identify Your purpose for my life this year Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
Father, I ask that You will help me to possess the vision, help me Lord to have a reason for living, to wake up with a reason and to rest every night with a reason this year Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
Father, I ask for the discipline to document, simplify and review the vision. I ask for the discipline to make Your vision for my life come to pass Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
Father, we ask that You will take charge of our nation, Nigeria. We ask that the agenda of terrorism, bloodshed and jihad will never succeed in Nigeria. Father, Nigeria is Yours, and the fullness thereof, fulfil Your purpose in Nigeria Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
Father, we ask today that every attempt to subvert the will of the people, let it be frustrated Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
Father, we ask that You will perfect Your Will for Nigeria Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
ANOINTING FOCUS:
– This unction will make the vision to function
– You will not live an aimless, useless and wasted life
– Power to live by vision and to fulfil vision
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
– Every door that the enemy has closed against you is opened now
– Every arrow of evil returns back to hell.
