Knowing where you’re going to is not enough, but being led on how to get there is also paramount. Although when you know where you are going to, it gives you peace of mind, but not knowing how to get there will create panic if you have no one to lead you or show you the way.
At one point in time in life, we will need to be led, but the person leading you also matters so that you won’t be led astray.
And that is why God has given us His holy spirit

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things…
Who is the Holy spirit?
*The holyspirit is the spirit of God. Acts 2:17

How can I be led by the Holy spirit?
1.Read the Bible: from reading the Bible, you will get to know the different ways the holy spirit leads man. When you get familiar with how he led people in the Bible, it won’t look strange to you by the time he leads you. You have to be in touch with the word, many times he will speak you through the words of the scriptures but if you are not familiar with the holy scripture how will you know he is the one talking to you?
Don’t just read the Bible to mark daily register but read, meditate, memorize and put the word to work
2. Meekness: Moses was said to be the meekest man on earth. Numbers 12:3
God said in Psalms 25:9 that “the meek will he teach his ways” you need to have this understanding that he won’t force himself on you. You need to be teachable. Another thing God will do to the meek is to add beauty to their life. Psalm 149:4 KJV.
For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.
3. You must be willing to obey him: he won’t force you if you’re not willing to be led.
If he tells you to do something and you refuse repeatedly, he will stop speaking to you. The holy spirit hates disobedience, because to obey is better than sacrifice.
4. You must spend time in worship: the holy spirit loves to be in an atmosphere of worship, if you worship the lord constantly he will abide with you. Psalms 22:3.
5. Spend time in prayer: commune with the holyspirit in the place of prayer, when you talk to God he will talk back to you.
Ask the Lord in the place of prayer to lead you by his spirit.
Being led by the holy spirit guarantees you a stress free journey in life. If you follow the leading of the holy spirit you will live a life of no mistakes.
