John 6:53-56 KJV
Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. [54] Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. [55] For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. [56] He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
The holy communion is a command given to us by Jesus Christ, this represents the death of Jesus Christ where his flesh was broken for us and his blood shed for us, we are to take this in remembrance of him (1 Corinthians 11:25).
This was the meal at the last supper with Jesus Christ and his disciples, and Jesus said anyone who eats his flesh and drinks his blood has eternal life in him; which is the life of Christ.
The communion is not just bread and drink that should be eaten casually, but it should be eaten with the understanding that it is he flesh and blood of Jesus Christ. And there is power in the blood of Jesus Christ to wash away our sins and bring us into the new covenant, as we all know that the blood of animals cannot wash away our sins.
What is in the flesh?
The flesh is the new covenant manner that destroys all feebleness and weakness (Psalms 105:37)
When you partake from the communion table with faith and the understanding of what the communion represent, you can get your healing from whichever sickness that has held you bound.
What is in the blood?
1. There is healing virtue in the blood, when you drink the blood of Jesus, you have his blood flowing in your veins too, then you should believe that any sickness that couldn’t find expression in Jesus will not find expression in your body too.
2. There is the seal for exemption.
In the old testament, when God was to pass through Egypt to destroy the first Borns, he said the children of Israel should mark their door post with the blood of the lamb (Exodus 12:7) and when He(God) sees the blood, he will pass over (Exodus 12:13).
But in the new testament, Jesus Christ was given to us as “the lamb sacrificed for our sins” so his blood is the seal for our protection, when you sprinkle his blood on yourself, your house, your properties, you mark yourself for exemption from all form of plagues and evil.
Hebrews 12:24 KJV
And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.
3. You have the life, the DNA of Christ in you by taking his blood into you
The moment you take the blood of Jesus into you, you become a carrier of his DNA (John 6:56)
So, the next time you partake of the communion table, don’t go with a casual mentality
