MESSAGE TOPIC: CHANNELS OF EVANGELISM

SERVICE OBJECTIVE(S):
1. Understanding soul-winning channels/kinds/types
2. Understanding the ultimate of soul-winning/evangelism
THINGS TO NOTE:
1. Soul-winning is every believer’s call/responsibility (Mark 16:15)
To be a soul winner is to be a Kingdom asset but to be a benchwarmer is to be a Kingdom liability
There must be somebody’s life that is traceable to your impact
2. It takes wisdom (Divine strategy) to win souls (Prov. 11:30)
3. It takes both the help and leading of the Holy Spirit to win souls (Acts 8:29)
CHANNELS OF SOUL WINNING:
1. Preaching (Matt. 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-17; Gal. 3:8)
Preaching is basically revealing the love and the mercy of God to mankind
Preaching in evangelism is not condemnation or accusation
2. Testimonies (Ps. 105:1-2; John 4:29-30)
Letting people know what God is doing is a channel of evangelism
Not everyone may know how to preach but everyone knows how to tell a story
3. Character (Acts 11:26; 1 Pet. 3:1-2)
Your character is a message
Your action is more evangelistic than your utterance
Preach the Gospel always and when necessary use words – Saint Francis of Assisi
4. Kindness/love (John 3:16; Songs 8:6; Matt. 5:16; Acts 9:36)
Evangelism can never happen without loving the people
When you touch people’s lives and impact them they will be interested in whatever you have to say
You can’t teach them until you touch them
5. Excellence (Matt. 5:16; 1 Sam. 22:2)
This is outstanding existence/results
Your excellence is more evangelistic than your utterance
Excellence brings audience and influence
Whatever you do, do it well and then you will be able to influence the system from the top down
When you are a star you attract fans and these fans can be turned into disciples
You are duty bound to succeed
Means give voice
If you want your voice to be heard in your generation, whatever you do don’t be the tail, be the head!
Even if you won’t succeed because of yourself, succeed because of those that will come to God because of your results and resources
That was Daniel, Esther, and Joseph succeeded in this realm
6. Print (Ps. 68:11; Mark 1:45)
7. Power (Acts 1:8; Mark 16:20; Job 42:10)
This is where you apply the hand on the afflicted leg and suddenly the leg is healed and everyone knows that Jesus was the healer
Don’t struggle to heal anybody, it is God Who heals. Just discharge your responsibility and leave results to God
Don’t be afraid to pray for the afflicted
At times it is when praying for someone afflicted that you are healed of similar affliction (Job 42:10)
The power is not for show, it is for results
Signs follow not only pastors but them that believe (Mark 16:17)
8. Divine Presence (Gen. 35:5; Mark 2:1; Zech. 8:23; Acts 4:13)
This is a situation where people come near you and feel God and the God they feel releases upon them a terror/conviction about God
Whenever you carry God you gather multitudes
God is looking for people that people can come near them and feel His Presence
Presence evangelism will even paralyse the presence of evil around you
That Presence of God is a convicting presence that makes people want to follow you to serve your God
Don’t point people to your flesh, point people to your God
Don’t point people to your body, point people to your spirit
Let your generation see your content and not your container
THE OBJECTIVE OF ALL EVANGELISM:
1. The salvation of souls
2. The establishment of the saved (John 15:16)
It is a dangerous thing to get souls to be saved without making the effort for them to be established
i. When the devil knows that they are making the decision to follow Jesus and you don’t help them to be established, he can cut them off
ii. When you give people the gospel and they agree to be saved and you don’t follow them up to root them in and they return back to the world, you would only have succeeded to inoculate them to the Gospel
PRAYERS
Father, thank You for Your Word to me today. To You be all the glory Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
Father, help me to fulfil my duty of soul-winning; help me with the wisdom for soul-winning; give me the help and guidance of the Holy Spirit, help me with the boldness to preach and the character befitting of a child of God; help me with kindness; help me to win souls that will be established; I receive the grace now, in Jesus’ Name.
IMPARTATION DECLARATIONS (EXODUS 23:25-26; DEUT. 28:8):
– The blessing of serving God is your portion right now!
– As you move out with fresh passion to touch lives and win souls, I decree a fresh release of the blessing upon you!
– Everything you set your hand to do in this season is blessed!
– The delay is over!
– You won’t lack what to eat or drink!
– Every system holding what is yours, I decree they are put under pressure, they shall lose sleep, peace and rest until what is yours enters into your hands!
– Every sickness in your system is retrieved and refired back to hell!
– You will not die before your time!
– You will not bury your spouse or children before their time!
– Every plague of death is arrested! The plague of death shall never ravage your family!
– The angels of resurrection that interrupt premature death will interrupt every death process around you!
– By next Sunday, over 100 job openings per location will be released!
– I decree supernatural supplies!
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
– The grace to be outstandingly successful is released upon you now!
– Before this first quarter is over, God will make you a story of notorious authority for the sake of the Gospel
– You are stepping into a dimension of power and manifestation like you have never seen before!
