YOUR THOUGHT, YOUR ATTITUDE AND YOUR ALTITUDE

SEEDS OF DESTINY

DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY DR PASTOR PAUL ENENCHE

SATURDAY DECEMBER 17, 2022

TOPIC: YOUR THOUGHT, YOUR ATTITUDE AND YOUR ALTITUDE.

SCRIPTURE: For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.
Proverbs 23:7

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Good thought leads to good attitude, and good attitude leads to great altitude.

Our anchor Scripture reveals that as a man thinks in his heart, so is he. This means, your life is a product of your thought. Thought determines attitude to life.

Many people have different attitudes to life because of the way they think. For example, some people think and say, “Well, in this life, it is only when you know people that you can succeed. Everything in life is all by chance. If God says you cannot succeed, there nothing you can do.” And because of this thought in their minds, they refuse to take responsibility, so they remain at the ground level of life.
You see, thought determines attitude and attitude determines altitude. Good thought leads to good attitude and good attitude leads to great altitude. The difference between the rich and the poor, the great and the small, the successful and the unsuccessful is a matter of their thought life. You cannot rise above your thought. Your life cannot be down when your thought is up; and you cannot go up if you always think low.
My counsel is, settle down to enhance the quality of your thought. Ponder the Word of God and let it renew your mind.

Remember this: Good thought leads to good attitude and good attitude leads to great altitude.

ASSIGNMENT:
1. Give your mind to quality and productive thinking.
2. Meditate on the Word of God always.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask for the grace to think productively. I delete every negative and limiting thought from my mind, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

QUOTE: People who are given to too much talking are given to too little thinking. Too much talk equals too little thought. A man who talks too much thinks very little. When talk is abundant, thought is shallow.

AMAZING FACT: A feeling of thirst occurs when water loss is equal to 1% of your body weight. The loss of more than 5% can cause fainting, and more than 10% causes death from dehydration.
