Prophetic Focus: PRAYER AND FASTING EMPOWERS FOR DOMINION – Isa. 58:6-14
Kingdom Advancement Prayer is Every Believer’s Responsibility
Job the greatest businessman of his days was a renowned servant of God, given to a life of prayer – Job 1:8/ Job 42:7-9/10-14
But what are we to pray?
We must continue to pray for all our new converts and new members to be established in this church for life – Jhn 15:16/ Col. 4:12/ Gal. 4:19.
For their eyes of understanding to be opened to the wonders of the Word – Eph. 1:17-18/ Psa. 119:18.
For access to light from the Word to subdue the powers of darkness around their lives – Psa. 119:130/ Jhn 1:5.
For spiritual understanding of the truth that will grant them access to their inheritance – Col. 1:9/ act. 20:32.
Passion for God and for souls – Mat. 6:33/ Jhn 15:16
Passion for fellowship – Psa. 84:7/ Heb. 10:25
For their needs to be met – Jhn 4:48/ Jhn 9:25
But why must they be Established in this Church for life?
The Church is God’s city of refuge against the assaults of the wicked – Josh. 6:20/ Obd 15/ Heb. 12:22-24
For continuous renewal of strength – Psa. 84:7/ Heb. 3:13.
To access their inheritance in Christ – Psa. 132:13-15/ Jer. 3:15-16/ Act. 20:32
To be fed with the bread of life – Act. 20:28/ 1 Pet. 5:5.
For defense against a re-entry of the wicked to defile – Mat. 12:43-45
What is in Kingdom Advancement Prayers for us?
Kingdom advancement prayer advances those who are engaging with it, we have the examples of:
Nehemiah, who was turned from a cupbearer to a governor – Neh. 1:1-9/ Neh. 2:1-10/ Neh. 5:14/ Jer. 30:19/21
Daniel, who served God constantly by praying three times a day and was turned from a captive boy to the Prime Minister of Babylon – Dan. 2:16-19/23-30/46/ Dan. 6:1-4/10/20-23/28.
David, a man with a heart for God, prayed three times a day and wad turned from a shepherd boy to the king of Israel – Psa. 55:17/ 1 Sam. 1:13-14/ Psa. 119:46
Remember, God who sees our labour of prayer and fasting in secret is committed keep to rewarding us openly – Mat. 6:6/17-18.
Jesus is Lord!
