TOPIC : WHY YOU NEED TO WATCH YOUR DREAMS
SCRIPTURE :Daniel 2: 5. The king answered and said to the Chaldeans,
The thing is gone from me: if ye will not make known unto me the dream, with the interpretation thereof, ye shall be cut in pieces, and your houses shall be made a dunghill.
Beloved, I welcome you to another Moment of Daily Encounter with the word.! Yesterday, we established that we need to watch over our dreams. And today we shall be looking at the activities of dream robbers which is the reason why you need to watch your dream life.
We understand from the scripture that God primary way of speaking to His children is the Bible! However, God does speak to people via the dream as in the case of Joseph:
Matthew 1: 20. But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
God also give warning through dreams as in the case of the wise men :
Matthew 2: 12. And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.
Now, imagine, you are the Joseph God is trying to pass a message via the dream to and you woke up without remembering your dream!
Or you are one of the wise men God is trying to send warning to but because you cannot remember your dream, you also loose out of God’s warning!
This is exactly the state of many believers, they neither regards their dreams nor remember it when they wake up because of activities of wicked spirit known as dream robbers.
So today, it is just a prayer burden I will like to share with every one on the matter of dream robbery!
Who are these dream robbers?
1. They are wicked spirit from the pit of hell targeted at robbing you of your God given dreams.
2. They are wicked spirit that will make you loose track of your dream when you wake up as the case of Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel 2:1-6.
Why are they robbing you of your dreams?
1. It is to ensure you are limited in life and destroy: Dream robbers are aware that if you could remember all that God is showing you in the dream, you will be a wonder to behold, hence they Robb you of it and you wake up completely forgotten what you dreamt about.
2. It is to make sure you are unaware of the operation of the wicked around you so that you can’t take action against them.
It will interest you to know that dreams that comes from the devil you don’t forget it easily, infact you wake up shivery and sometime panicking!
These are nightmares that breed fear and anxiety and in a flash you can remember the details of it to the letter. However, the one that should have earn you a fortune, you wake up and can not remember any thing about it. This is the work of dream robbers!
From our anchor scripture(Dan.2:5), the king dreamt but couldn’t remember his dream! And that is it with many children of God! How many times God is trying to pass an idea to you in the dream but you wake up and can’t remember it anymore? Simply because of dreams robbers!
Although, dream is not the only avenue God passes information to His children, but dreams is one sure way to pass information when over busy,too much noise inside our spirit will not allow us to hear what God is saying.
To take your dream for granted is to loose track of what God Is communicating to you. Some of us have said they don’t dream at all! That is a clear sign the dream robbers are working on your dream life by blocking your dream window.
How do you wage war against dream robbers?
It is by praying against dream robbers.
Pray Points against Dream Robbers :
– Father thank you for your word to me today
– Every power stealing away my dream, your tenure expired today. I break your hold over my life. Fire of God consume you today in the name of Jesus.
– Every power manipulating my dream life, expired by fire🔥🔥
– Every power that makes me forget my dreams, catch fire in Jesus name
Remember this : Heaven is real and hell is real! Our lives on Earth is transient! Think of eternity and get prepared today by being born again.
Prophetic Declaration :
– I prophesy an end has come to every dream robbers of your life and destiny in Jesus name
– Receive your divine ideas now in Jesus name
– Your life, health and dreams shall no longer be manipulated in Jesus mighty name.
