END OF YEAR THANKSGIVING SERVICE – SUNDAY, 11TH DECEMBER 2022
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE(S): PSALM 92:1-2
MESSAGE TOPIC: THE VALUE OF THANKSGIVING (1&2)

SERVICE OBJECTIVE(S): Understanding both the value and virtue of thanksgiving
We live in a world where thanksgiving is in very short supply in the earth today and it is a sign of the End time (2 Tim. 3:1-2)
One of the scarcest virtues in the world today is the virtue of thanksgiving; it is a sign of the End time (2 Tim. 3:1-2)
WHY IS UNTHANKFULNESS SUCH A CHALLENGE?
1. It is an agenda of the devil to rob people of the value and virtue of thanksgiving (John 10:10)
2. It is the plague of human self-sufficiency and independence of God that is characteristic of the Endtime (2 Tim. 3:2)
3. It is the product of the scarcity of faith in the end time (Luke 18:8)
4. It is the product of bankruptcy of love for God (Matt. 24:12)
WHAT VIRTUE/VALUE DOES THANKSGIVING HOLD?
1. Thanksgiving grants access to good (Ps. 92:1)
2. Thanksgiving provokes the unction for multiplication (Jer. 30:19-22)
3. Thanksgiving is the way of glorification (Jer. 30:19)
Your thanksgiving will establish for you glory and wipe out the shame
4. Thanksgiving will activate the punishment of the oppressor (Jer. 30:20)
If a man knows how to thank God and you look for his trouble, you are looking for the punishment of God.
5. Thanksgiving places on people the seal of nobility and greatness (Jer. 30:21)
It doesn’t matter what the devil wants to do with your life, your thanksgiving will place on you a seal of greatness
6. Thanksgiving grants the privilege of closeness and intimacy with God (Jer. 30:21)
7. Thanksgiving places on people the seal of Divine ownership (Jer. 30:22)
8. Thanksgiving brings deliverance to life (Ps. 18:49-50)
9. Thanksgiving turns the night into day and weeping into joy (Ps. 30:4-5)
10. Thanksgiving activates the mercy of God (Ps. 136:1-26)
Mercy cleanses the messes of your life
11. Thanksgiving brings about completion and total restoration (Luke 17:11-19)
Prayer may start the miracle but it is your appreciation that finishes the testimony
Supplication may begin the intervention but it is your thanksgiving that will complete His manifestation
12. Thanksgiving is the way of peace (Phil. 4:6-7)
13. Thanksgiving grants access to the will of God. (1Thess. 5:18)
13a. Inside everything, there is something to thank God for
13b. Your thanksgiving ushers you into His will
14. Thanksgiving grants access into the Presence of God (Ps. 100:4)
OUR FOCUS FOR THANKSGIVING:
1. The gift of life (Ps. 150:6, Eccl. 9:4)
2. The frustration of the plans of the enemy (Job 5:12; Isa. 44:25)
If we know more we would thank more
3. What God did in the past (Ps. 103:1-5)
4. What God is doing now that you are not aware of (Eph. 3:20)
There are prayers we pray that are answered before the prayer; the more you thank God for such things, the more they manifest for you.
5. What God is yet but sure to do (Rom. 4:20)
PRAYERS
Father, thank You for Your Word to us today. To You be all the glory Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
Father, thank You for the gift of life, I appreciate You for Your help and mercy; to You be all the glory Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
Father, thank You for frustrating the plans of the enemy concerning my life and destiny, in Jesus’ Name.
Father, thank You for everything You have done in my life before today; I am grateful Lord for healings, miracles and breakthroughs; thank You Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
Father, thank You for all You are doing in my life right now that I am not aware of; thank You Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
Father, thank You for what I am expecting before the end of the year; thank You Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
Father, thank You for bringing me to an expected end of 2022; I receive Your expectations for my
life for 2022; 2022 is not permitted to end until my expectations are realised, in Jesus’ Name.
Father, I ask that You will frustrate every expectation of the enemy concerning my life, family, destiny, our nation, the Church of God in Nigeria, and this church; frustrate the enemy Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
Father, we ask for revival in the United Kingdom; let Your glory fill that land; England shall be filled with the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas, oh Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
Father, I am asking that this year will not end until Your expectations for my life, family, Church, Dunamis, for our Nation, Nigeria come to pass. I demand the manifestation of Your expectation for my life in Jesus’ Name. (Jer. 29:11)
Father, I ask that You frustrate every counsel of the enemy against my life, family, the Church, Dunamis and our Nation Nigeria. Frustrate every agenda of the devil regarding my life Oh LORD in Jesus’ Name. (Prov. 19:21)
Thank You Lord for answered prayers. To You be all the glory Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
– Every agenda of the enemy regarding your life is frustrated
– Every current plan of hell, today, I declare them terminated!
– Before this year is out, God will exceed your expectation; He will do far beyond what you expect!
– Every garment of depression, disappointment and discouragement, today, that yoke is broken!
– Today, every pressure you came here with is over!
– Everything the devil took from you, I prophesy their immediate recovery now!
– Whatever is affecting your loved ones is arrested and returned back to hell!
– Every mountain in your life is gone forever!
– Everything that must enter your hands before the end of the year, I declare their immediate release in Jesus’ Name!
– Everything that is a difficulty around you, today, by the unction of ease, it is made easy!
– Any arrow from the pit of hell, arrow of affliction, arrow of poverty and empty-handedness, that arrow is retrieved and refired back to hell!
– Every arrow trying to take you out of this life is returned to hell!
