The Story of Josephine Myrtle Corbin: the lady with 4 Legs




Josephine Myrtle Corbin was born on May 12, 1868 in Tennessee, USA. She became the first person to be born with two separate pelvises thereby having two separate wombs and vaginas. She also had four legs, two being from her suppressed twin.

Despite her condition, she got married at 19 to James Clinton Bicknell and together, they had 5 children. Two formed in one womb and three formed in the other womb.

She died on 6 May 1928 in Texas, 6 days to her 60th birthday. Many medical practitioners and private collectors offered money for her corpse but the family refused. They buried her and made sure her corpse wasn’t stolen…
