MESSAGE TOPIC: THE RISING GLORY – FROM GENERATION TO GENERATION
By: Dr Paul Enenche

MESSAGE OBJECTIVE(S):
1. Understanding the rise of the Glory
2. Understanding the secrets of the Glory rise

THINGS TO NOTE:
1. God is a God of action and motion (Ex. 14:13-16)
He is not a God Who is static or stagnant

2. God is a God of new things (Isa. 43:19)
God never runs out of news; news never ends in God

3. God is a God of increasing dimensions of manifestation (Prov. 4:18; Ps. 84:7; Rom. 1:17; 2 Cor. 3:18; Ezek. 47:2-5)
We serve the God of more and more, the God of strength to strength, the God of faith to faith, the God of glory to glory, and the God of depth to depth (Prov. 4:18; Ps. 84:7; Rom. 1:17; 2 Cor. 3:18; Ezek. 47:2-5)
From the days of Elijah and Moses the Glory of the Lord has been travelling, in waves upon waves; we are the generation that shall see the crescendo

SCRIPTURAL EXAMPLES OF RISING GLORY DIMENSIONS:
1. Rising Glory Dimension from Adam unto Christ (Gen. 3:21; Ex. 12:3; Lev. 9:7; John 1:29)
God started by making atonement with an animal for one couple (Adam and Eve), to atonement for a household, to atonement for a nation, to the atonement for a generation and the world with Jesus

2. The Rising Glory from Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Gen. 14:14; 26:16; 32:28)
Abraham was a man who fought a nation, Isaac was mightier than a nation but Jacob became a nation

3. The Rising Glory from Moses to Joshua
The Glory of Moses was bringing the people of Israel out of Egypt; the rising glory of Joshua was to bring the people into the Promised land
The plan of God is that the current generation should touch a glory dimension higher than the one the previous generation experienced
What happened yesterday is not permitted to be better than what is happening in the now

4. The Rising Glory from David to Solomon (1 Chron. 29:1-6; 1 Kings 5:4)
David laid up materials for the building of the temple (1 Chron. 29:1-6) but it was Solomon
that built the temple in such a glory that kings and queens came from around the world to see it
There is a mantle of supernatural wealth and resources reserved for our generation that we are yet to step in
David fought all the battles that Solomon was meant to fight so that all Solomon had to do was manifest glory (1 Kings 5:4)
Other men have laboured and we have entered into their rest (John 4:38)

5. The Rising Glory from Elijah to Elisha (2 Kings 2:11; 6:17)
Elisha did exactly twice of Elijah’s miracles
Elijah walked with a chariot of fire, but Elisha walked with chariots of fire
The mantles that men of old carried, how much of it are we carrying now?
When we are out of touch with our history we become out of touch with our destiny

6. The Rising Glory from John the Baptist to the Master Jesus (Matt. 3:1-4; John 1:35-41)
John was localised to preaching in the wilderness but the Master moved beyond the wilderness and preached in deserts, at sea shores, in the temple and in the synagogue
Our generation is waiting for a glory that will pull their attention and that of their families

7. The Rising Glory from the Master Jesus to the apostles (John 14:12; Matt. 15:24; Mark 16:15)
Jesus’ scope was to preach to the lost sheep of Israel but when He resurrected he sent the apostles to go into all the world to preach to every creature (Matt. 15:24; Mark 16:15)
The people that came later are designed to go further in impact and manifestation

8. The Rising Glory from the original apostles to Paul the apostle (1 Cor. 15:9-10)

9. The Rising Glory of reformation in church history

SECRETS TO WALKING IN THE RISING GLORY DIMENSION:
1. Accept the responsibility for the move and glory of God in our generation (Judg. 6:13-14)

2. Refuse to pitch a tent around any previous move of God (Luke 9:33)
We must stop acting as if the best is in the past

3. Let us use what happened before as a basis, a platform or a landing pad for higher expectations (Phil. 3:10-13)

4. Let us set our gaze resolutely at the things that are ahead; we must be hungry for the things that are yet to happen (Phil. 3:13)

5. We must stand on the prayer watch tower to pray down the imminent glory and access the mind of God for what lies ahead (Hab. 2:1; Luke 9:29)
Refuse to be alive and not enter the glory that is due for your generation

PRAYERS:
Lord I refuse to be alive without stepping into the Glory for my generation, in Jesus’ Name.

Father, I make demands on the fresh release of Your might, help and mercy to fulfil the assignment for my generation Lord, in Jesus’ Name!

Father, release Your Hand upon my life; the necessary might, help and grace, I receive it Lord, in Jesus’ Name!

Father, please don’t pass me by; whatever You are doing in this season, help me to be a part of Your move Lord, in Jesus’ Name!

Father, that mantle for the next level of the Glory, I ask receive it now Lord, in Jesus’ Name!

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
– Everything that has not been working in your life shall begin to work in Jesus’ Name!
– I prophesy drastic judgment upon the enemies of our land.
