ANCHOR SCRIPTURE(S): PSALM 122:1
MESSAGE TOPIC: THE PROFIT OF THE HOUSE OF THE LORD

SERVICE OBJECTIVE(S): Understanding the value and benefit of the house of God
The House of God is a place of unquantifiable spiritual value and profit
CATEGORIES OF PEOPLE WHO COME TO THE HOUSE OF GOD:
1. People who come to Church for purely religious reasons
2. People who come to Church for purely social reasons
3. People who are easy victims of wrong doctrines which send them away from Church
4. People who have been sent away from Church by the system of the antichrist
5. People who allow technology to take the place of Church in their lives
THE PROFIT OF THE HOUSE OF THE LORD:
1. The House of God is the place of connection to and acceleration in spiritual strength (Ps. 84:7)
Absence from Zion is weakness of life
2. The House of God is the place of Divine Presence and open Heavens (Gen. 28:16-17)
The House of God is the place to experience tangible Divine Presence
To be absent from the House of God is to dwell in dryness
The House of God is our Divine Presence refilling, refuelling and activation Centre
3. The House of God is the place of Divine encounter (Gen. 28:12-17; Ex. 3:1-2; Isa. 2:2; Heb. 12:22-25)
The House of God is the place of Divine encounters, angelic encounters and ancient mantles encounter
4. The House of God is the place of understanding and revelation (Ps. 73:17; 77:13)
Understanding, light and insight are waiting for you in the Sanctuary
No matter how hard you try, there are insights you may never be able to understand on your own
5. The House of God is the place of supernatural manifestations of healings, miracles, deliverance (Obad. 1:17; Matt. 21:14; Luke 13:10-12).
When your affliction cannot stop your dedication, your dedication will swallow up your affliction.
When your problem cannot stop your praise, your praise will stop up your problem.
When your harassment cannot stop your commitment, your commitment will stop up your harassment.
There are answers waiting for you in the House of the Lord
May the angel not arrive with your healing, breakthrough, deliverance, or the mantle you’ve been praying for and that is the day you decided to relax at home.
6. The House of God is the place of spiritual possession (Obad. 1:17; Ex. 3:1-12)
What is yours in God is receivable in the House
7. The House of God is the place of character transformation and maintenance (Obad. 1:17; Heb. 10:25-26)
The Church helps you to uphold your convictions
The Church helps you to maintain a lively conscience
The Church helps you against compromise
Distance from God and from Church equals nearness to sin, most times.
The church assists in the stability of spirituality
The tendency to fall away is high when you stay away from the church
8. The House of God is the place of love and fellowship (Acts 2:42, 46)
The House of God is the place where the lonely can come and get companionship, the rejected can come and feel accepted, the downtrodden can come and receive upliftment.
The church must never be turned into a place of hatred, gossip, animosity, malice and backbiting
COUNSEL:
1. Let nothing take you out of the House of God (Ps. 122:1)
The way in is the way forward, how you got it is how you keep it; if God gave it to you, the devil can’t keep it for you.
Anything that drives you away from God drives you away from good, and anything that drives you to God drives you to good.
2. Let not the House of God ever be too far for you (Isa. 2:2)
The agenda of God is for nations to attend the House of God
The House of your Father can never be too far for you
3. Contribute positively to the love, warmth and fellowship in the House of the Lord (Phil. 2:1-4; Ps. 133:1-3)
Don’t be the source of envy and bitterness in the church
4. Contribute to the growth and increase in the House (Eph. 4:15-16)
Let your presence be felt and your absence be noticed; be a positive difference maker in Church.
5. Be committed to service in the House (Ps. 84:10)
Those who serve God are serviced by the God they serve
PRAYERS
Father, thank You for Your Word to me today; I give You the praise and the honour for this life-changing Word; I believe my life can never remain the same, Lord in Jesus’ Name.
Father, let the profit of Your House be my portion today, Lord in Jesus Name – Ps. 122:1.
Father, help me to make positive impact in Your House producing increase on every side, Lord in Jesus Name – Eph. 4:16; John 15:16.
Father, let the flow of love be ceaseless in Your House from this moment; give us a love revival in the Body of Christ today Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
Father, thank You for the awesome Healing and Deliverance Crusade in Makurdi. We thank You for souls saved, bodies healed and lives transformed, Lord in Jesus Name – Ps. 103:1-5.
Father, we take authority over every satanic reprisal and counterattack of the crusade. We decree their frustration and neutralization in Jesus Name – Luke 10:19.
Father, everything You have for me from this crusade, I receive my portion in Jesus Name
Father, we ask that You will turn the captivity of our Nation, Nigeria in this season like a dream of the night, Lord in Jesus Name – Psalm 126:1-2.
Father, we ask that You will scatter every gang-up of the enemy against Your perfect plan and purpose in the forthcoming elections, Lord in Jesus Name – Psalm 68:1.
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
– You will not miss your breakthrough, miracle or deliverance!
