MESSAGE TOPIC: THE PRAYER WAY TO THE GLORY

MESSAGE OBJECTIVE(S):
1. Understanding the connection between prayer and glory
2. Understanding keys to effective prayer
There is an intricate connection between your prayer life and your glory level
There is no glory without story; behind every glory, there is a prayer story
Corporate prayer is good but personal prayer is key to your glory life
THE CONNECTION BETWEEN YOUR PRAYER LIFE AND GLORY LEVEL:
1. The place of prayer is the birthplace of the Glory (2 Chron. 7:1; Luke 9:29)
There is a level of Glory that is reserved for the place of prayer
2. The place of prayer is the place of drastic change, transformation and transfiguration (Luke 9:28; Gen. 32:37-38)
3. The place of prayer is the place of the termination and elimination of shame and reproach
KEYS TO EFFECTIVE PRAYER:
1. The lifestyle of uprightness (Jam. 5:16; Ps. 66:18; Isa. 59:1-2; Matt. 27:26)
Anywhere iniquity abounds, the attention of God is shifted
2. Praying with revelation and light from God’s Word (Isa. 43:26; Num. 14:28)
3. Praying and believing in faith (Heb. 11:6; Mark 11:24)
4. The decision and determination to pray
If you are not determined to pray you may not be able to pray effectively
5. Existence with a pure heart
It is not possible to pray and receive answers with a heart that is filled with hatred and offence
6. Keeping the right company (Prov. 13:20; 27:17)
When the wrong man enters the right atmosphere he begins to experience the right things
PRAYERS:
Father, I thank You for Your Word to me this morning. I thank You for speaking to me and I connect with the fresh baptism of the Spirit of grace and supplication Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
Father, I ask today on this mountain, that as we pray, give me a glory encounter, an encounter with drastic change and transformation Lord, in Jesus’ Name. (Luke 9:29)
Father, I ask that You will not allow me to leave this meeting this morning without a definite glory encounter. Lord, I ask today on a desperate note that I will not leave here today without a glory encounter Lord, in Jesus’ Name. (Gen. 32:26).
