MESSAGE TOPIC: THE PRACTICALITY OF WALKING IN LOVE

Love is a walk; to operate in the realm of love, steps must be taken;
HOW DO WE WALK IN LOVE?
1. By walking and receiving the enablement of the Spirit of God (Rom. 5:5; 2 Tim. 1:6-7)
Anyone who carries the Spirit of God carries the Spirit of Love
Flowing in the Spirit is flowing in love; the more spiritual you are the more love-filled you are
Anytime you are flowing in the Spirit you are irrigating your heart with love
Being filled with the Holy Ghost is a life of luxury – Smith Wigglesworth
2. By walking in the Word of God and being filled with the Word of God (John 1:1; 1 John 4:8)
Every revelation that does not translate into passion for God or compassion is mere information
3. By communing and fellowshipping with the Person of Love (2 Cor. 3:18; 1 Pet. 3:7; Ps. 17:15)
Anything you hang around with, will hang on you
4. By making the choice to obey the commandment to love (Mark 12:30-31; Isa. 48:19; Deut. 28:1-2; 1 John 5:3; Isa. 48:18)
Every commandment is connected to the blessing of God
Love is not a gift, love is a choice; love is not about what you feel, love is about what you choose
Those who follow feelings end in failure because feelings are never reliable
5. By keeping the company of the loving and avoiding the company of the hateful (Prov. 13:20; 27:17)
Anybody who talks about people to you, they will talk about you to others
Until you guard your ear, you will lose your heart
You can love liberally but relate selectively
6. By a clear understanding of the profitability of walking in love (Matt. 7:12; Ps. 18:25; Job 42:10)
7. By refusing to be discouraged by unpleasant human behavior (Gal. 6:9)
In the journey of love there is tendency of weariness
If you follow people’s reactions, you won’t take action
PRAYERS
Father, we ask that the fire of Your Spirit will burn wickedness and selfishness out of our land, Nigeria and the Church. Let Your fire burn this evil Lord, in Jesus’ Name (Isa. 4:4)
Father, I ask that You will overwhelm me today with Your Spirit of love. Overwhelm me with Your Spirit of love. Help me to function at the frequency of love Lord, in Jesus’ Name
Father, I come before You today to appreciate You for Your word to me. Father, You have sent Your word and I receive my word. I pray for positive transformation from Your word in my life Lord, in Jesus’ Name
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
– God will give you an encounter that will change your life and story
– They may be looking for who to destroy but not your type
– Every verdict of hell/death that the enemy is trying to impose on you and place upon your life that sentence is null and void!
– Anyone that has been marked for death, today it is cancelled!
– The spell of scarcity, shortage, empty-handedness, shame and reproach is being broken right now; shame and reproach is not your portion!
– Every covenant and agreement with the power of darkness I decree it is broken now!
– Any mask the devil put on your face, every identity that is not your own is set on fire, and your correct identity is released!
– Every grave they have dug for you, those who dug that grave shall be buried in that grave!
