MESSAGE TOPIC: THE NECESSITY OF DOMINION

MESSAGE OBJECTIVE(S): Understanding why it is necessary to walk in dominion
WHY SHOULD WE WALK IN DOMINION?
1. To obey God’s creation mandate to man
THE FIVE FOLD MANDATE GIVEN AT CREATION:
i. Fruitfulness
ii. Multiplication
iii. Replenishment
iv. Subjugation
v. Dominion
2. To function in the image and likeness of our Maker (Gen. 1:26-27; Job 25:2)
God created us in His image and He is a God of dominion so we must also walk in dominion
3. To take charge and control of the earth on the behalf of our God (Ps. 8:3-6)
To properly administer and manage our world for or God is the reason we walk in dominion
4. To triumph over the forces of evil and wickedness that come up to confront our lives from time to time (Luke 10:19; Gen. 9:1-2)
5. To enforce the plan and purpose of God in the earth (Matt. 6:9-10)
To ensure that what God has determined and declared is what is enforced in the earth
We walk in dominion to birth the purpose of God in the earth
6. To judge satanic lawlessness and rebellion in the earth (1 Kings 17:1)
Righteousness is not learnt until judgment is released
7. To walk in personal liberty and not dwell in captivity (Gen. 27:40)
So that you don’t end up dominated but you shall be in dominion
Your captivity continues until dominion arrives
8. To take full control of your inheritance and destiny under God (Ps. 72:8)
It takes dominion to maintain domain
WHAT ARE THE SECRETS OF DOMINION?
1. Uprightness (Ps. 49:14; Prov. 28:1; Gen. 37:7-8)
It is not possible to be upright and not have dominion
You cannot have dominion in crookedness and compromise; they undermine your power and authority
2. Understanding (Ps. 49:20; Prov. 30:30)
The deeper your understanding of your place in God, the stronger your dominion in the earth.
We are not only going to cast out the devil, we are going to command the devil to repair what
he spoilt – in our lives, families and nation.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom but the fear of the devil is the father of foolishness
because you magnetize what you fear
3. Thankfulness (worship, praise and gratitude) (Rev. 3:7; Jer. 30:19-21)
PRAYERS
Father, thank You for the success of the Destiny Recovery Convention. Thank You Lord for the souls saved, bodies healed and destinies transformed. To You alone be all the praise, Lord in Jesus Name – Psalm 103:1-3.
Father, we thank You Lord because whatsoever You do is forever. We ask for the establishment of all that You have done in the lives of Your people during the convention, Lord in Jesus Name – Eccl. 3:14.
Father, we take authority over every reprisals or counterattacks of the convention. We bring them to immediate, instant defeat and failure, Lord in Jesus Name – Luke 10:19.
Father, we take authority over every altar of evil and wickedness established in our Nation’s capital in this season to perpetrate the agenda of the devil in our land at this time. We declare those altars set on fire, Lord in Jesus Name – Jeremiah 51:25.
Father, we ask that You cut off witchcraft from our land in this season according to Your Word. Judge every evil witch, wizard or soothsayer in our land/Nation in this season, Lord in Jesus Name – Micah 5:12; Exodus 22:18.
Father, thank You for answered prayers. To You alone be all the praise, Lord in Jesus Name – 1 John 5:14.
Father, It is written “there are many devices in the heart of a man nevertheless the counsel of the Lord that shall stand”. Father, this week only Your Purpose, Will and Plan for Nigeria shall stand, Lord in Jesus Name – Prov. 19:21.

– Every mountain planted in your life today is going now!
– Everyone oppressing your life is set for punishment!
– The devil of smallness trying to play with your life and destiny, its dominion is broken right now!
– Your God-given domain, no devil shall push you out of it!
– A certain opposition is about to push you into your position!
– Every agenda of familiar spirits, spirits of the dead trying to reproduce their affliction in your family, today it is arrested!
– You shall not die like they died!
– You shall fulfil your days and fulfil the plan and purpose of God for your life!
– This week shall usher you into a new season!
