TOPIC: THE EFFECT OF THE SPIRIT OF REST AT THE WELL LEVEL

Beloved, I welcome you to another Moment of Daily Encounter! The Spirit of rest, who is the Holy Spirit, when He enters a man produces a recreation/regeneration of the human spirit and this is termed being born again. This is what is categorized as the well level of the Holy Spirit. Today we shall examine the effects.
What are the effects of experiencing the Holy Spirit at the well level?
The well level produces a recreation of the human spirit and every recreated spirit is expected to produce fruit. You will observe from our anchor scripture that fruit was not used in the plural sense but singular, “fruit”!
This implies that all the various fruits mentioned are part of a whole. The idea of just one or two fruits is not there, rather one fruit exhibited in different forms.
The following therefore are various parts of the fruit of the Holy Spirit:
1. Love(Gal.5:22, Jn.13:34); This is the agape kind of love that is not natural but sacrificial. It is love that does not discriminate and is unconditional.
It makes you love the one that does not deserve your love and that can only happen by the power of the Holy Spirit:
Romans 5: 5. And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
2. Joy(Gal.5:22): This is the exultation that arises from a sense of God’s mercy communicated to the soul in the pardon for it’s iniquities and prospect for eternal glory.
This joy is described as everlasting (Isa.51:11) and unspeakable Joy(1Pet.1:8).
It is a true mark of being born again (Acts 8;8), if you are genuinely born again, the primary proof is joy unspeakable!
The greatest attack from hell is targeted at your joy, because the devil knows as long as you have joy, your service to God is not negotiable:
Nehemiah 8: 10.
Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.
3. Peace (Gal.5:22):
Romans 5: 1. Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
The Hebrew word for peace is Shalom! Which is the calm, quiet and order that take place in the justified souls. It is the umpire of your salvation that is always agitated the moment you step out of your boundaries as a child of God. Once you sin, you lose your peace until you confess and forsake it.
Beloved, have you lost your peace on the altar of immorality or shady business deals?
Whatever it is that you have done that has made you lose your joy, It is time to get it restored back to you. Whatever makes you lose your peace is not of God, it is the devil at work.
That is why the easiest way to know the will of God is loss of peace! Any relationship that makes you lose your peace run away from it. For the Bible says:
Romans 14: 17. For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
Remember this: Heaven is real and hell is real! Where will you spend eternity?
Prayer points;
– Father thank you for your word to me today.
– Lord I receive grace never to lose my joy and peace in Jesus name.
Prophetic Declaration:
– I prophesy the attack on your joy is arrested now in the name of Jesus.
– You are rescued from issues that will strangulate your peace in the name of Jesus.
