TOPIC: THE BLESSING OF WISDOM
SCRIPTURE: Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: Daniel 2:20a
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Wisdom is not just a principle; wisdom is a Person.
The Wisdom of God is a major key to attracting the Blessing of God, and foolishness is a doorway to curses and losses in life.
From our anchor Scripture, Daniel said, “Blessed be the Name of God”. Why? It is because He is the God of wisdom. So, there is blessing in Divine wisdom.
Now, why is wisdom so crucial?
1. The wisdom of God created the earth.
Wisdom is behind creation. That is, wisdom has the capacity to bring into existence what was previously non-existent (Jeremiah 10:12).
2. The wisdom of God is the personality of the Master, Jesus.
So, wisdom is not just a principle; wisdom is a Person (1 Corinthians 1:24).
3. The wisdom of God is one of the products of Calvary
Jesus died on the Cross of Calvary, not just to save us from our sins, but also to save us from foolishness by giving us wisdom (Revelations 5:12).
4. Wisdom is a recommended principal asset for the child of God (Proverbs 4:7).
It does not matter if you get money, if you do not have wisdom, it is a waste.
5. The wisdom of God is the secret of stardom, royalty, and blessing in the Kingdom (Proverbs 8:15).
We can see the impact or the blessing of wisdom in the life of David:
a. The wisdom of God gave David Divine protection and preservation in a very hostile and dangerous environment (1 Samuel 18:5-30). Wisdom is a blessing because wisdom preserves.
b. The wisdom of God brought favour, influence, and authority into the life of David (1 Samuel 18:5).
Beloved, the secret of wisdom is the fear of God (Job 28:28; Psalm 111:10; Proverbs 1:7). Fear God and make demands on wisdom and you will experience the blessing and products of wisdom.
Remember this: Wisdom is not just a principle; wisdom is a Person.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Let the fear of God reflect in everything You do; let sin not have a place in you.
2. Make demands on God for the impartation of His Wisdom and Blessing upon your life.
PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You baptise me with Your wisdom. I receive favour, authority and preservation for my life and destiny by Your Wisdom Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
