MESSAGE TOPIC: THE BLESSEDNESS OF FASTING

Fasting is not a religious exercise that is just designed to pacify the conscience, it is a powerful spiritual tool with measurable spiritual dividends.
WHAT IS THE BLESSEDNESS OF THE FAST?
1. We secure the help of God through fasting (2 Chron. 20:4; Acts 26:22)
The help of God makes us not to stop our journey halfway
2. We secure victory in battle through fasting (2 Chron. 20:1-4, 22-23)
3. We secure Divine guidance and direction through fasting (Ezra 8:21-23)
Fasting helps us the access the right way for our lives and destiny
4. We secure Divine protection and preservation through fasting (Ezra 8:21-22)
You are not permitted to experience any sort of ambush in 2023
5. We frustrate enemy conspiracies and verdicts through fasting (Esth. 4:16)
6. We access favour, both with God and man, through fasting (Esth. 4:16; 5:2)
7. We access supernatural power through fasting (Matt. 17:21)

HOW DO WE MAXIMIZE THE FAST?
1. Possess clearly defined objectives and goals for the fast (2 Chron. 20:3-4; Ezra 8:21-23)
2. Seek God passionately in the course of the fast (Jer. 29:11-13)
3. Pray with light and insight (Hos. 14:2)
4. Pray with faith (faith in God, not faith in the fast) (Heb. 11:6)
5. Maintain sensitivity to Divine signals (Isa. 58:6,8)

Father, thank You for Your goodness and mercies. Thank You Lord for the privilege of seeing the
New Year. Thank You for the gift of life. To You alone be all the praise, Lord in Jesus’ Name – Ps. 150:6.
Father, thank You for all that You have in stock for Your people this year. Thank You for Your
plans of good to bring us to an exciting, expected end in 2023, Lord in Jesus Name – Jer. 29:11.
Father, I ask for Your help for my life, family, destiny, church, Dunamis, Nation, Nigeria, through
this fast, Lord in the Name of Jesus Christ – 2 Chron. 20:4.
Father, I ask for victory in every current or future battle of my life, family, destiny, church, Dunamis and Nation, Nigeria, through this fast Lord, in Jesus Name – 2 Chron. 20:1-3.
Father, I apply for Divine guidance and direction for my life, family, destiny, church, Dunamis, and
Nation, Nigeria through this fast, Lord in Jesus Name. Father, help us to access the right way for our lives and land in 2023, Lord in Jesus Name – Ezra 8:21-23.

Father, we reject and refuse every blood sacrifice any devil and their agent is planning for Nigeria in this season; we cancel the blood sacrifice by the Blood of Jesus, in Jesus’ Name!
Father, we say ‘NO’ to plane crash and every form of tragedy in Nigeria in this season; we cancel and neutralize them now, in Jesus’ Name!
Father, thank You for answered prayers. To You alone be all the praise, Lord in Jesus Name – 1 John 5:14.
