I MET A 60 YEAR OLD MAN IN MALAYSIA AND FROM HIS LIFE I LEARNT THE PRICE OF DISOBEDIENCE
STAY WITH GOD, IF YOUR DAILY DEVOTION IS ONE HOUR, MAKE IT THREE HOURS.
DON’T SAY YOU DON’T HAVE TIME. YOU HAVE TIME, EVERY ADULT HAS TIME FOR WHAT THEY CONSIDER A PRIORITY. NOBODY HAS LONGER THAN 24 HOURS.

Begin to give glory to God. Begin to give him praises. Begin to give Him worship, begin to celebrate the King of Israel. The one who rules in justice and righteousness. King of kings and Lord of lords. Call Him His name and worship Him. Thank you Lord.
St Augustine of Hippo said “Thou has made us for thyself, and our heart finds no rest until we rest in thee”.
Our rest is in His presence. When we stay in His presence we enjoy peace like a river and joy like a fountain.
Take away from tonight’s meeting
1. Stay more and stay longer in His presence. No man can tell what you will become.
2. Our rest is in obedience.
In the process of praying today, the Lord must have told you a lot of things, whatever He has told you, do it and make that a lifestyle.
If your daily devotion is one hour, make it three. Don’t say you don’t have time. You have time, every adult has time for what they consider a priority. Nobody has longer than 24 hours.
As you stay longer in His presence, He will speak. Your rest is in obeying His voice. Whatever He is saying to you, do it.
When I had my meeting in Malaysia, I was returning to Nigeria and in Kuala Lumpur, a cab man picked me up. He was a believer and I learnt the price of disobedience from him.
He told me 21 years earlier, God spoke to him to leave everything to follow Him. He was at a high level in government service and he refused. Three years after, God reminded him and he refused. Seven years after God reminded him again and he refused. Not long after, he lost everything shamefully.
He said “Bishop pray for me, age is catching up with me, can I still do ministry?. I am already close to 60”. I saw the picture of what the price of disobedience looked like.
Lift up your right hand and say “ Father direct my steps into destiny fulfillment. Lord make it impossible for me to do anything but Your perfect will for my life.
