WHEN IT COMES TO A FATHER AND A SON RELATIONSHIP IN MINISTRY, THE TWO OF THEM ARE WHAT YOU WILL CONSIDER AS ONE OF THE BEST:
THREE THINGS TO LEARN:
1. It is not dishonour to have a meeting that is running concurrently with that of your father. If it is commanded by God to be that period of the year. Out of respect you can choose to shift it or cancel it. But it must not be done under duress.
2. Know when the man calling you a father is also a father in his own class, And limit your control over him. Otherwise if you want to have complete control over a son to you, who is a father in his own class, that is not looking for anything outside having a covering, honouring you, and been accountable to you, you may end up destroying a relationship that you also need. They both need each other.
3. The both meetings are filled with crowd. Yet happening at the same time. You don’t need to target the members of other churches, just do your thing, those assign to you, will definitely come. Some times they both share pulpit even when the both programme is happening at the same time.
If it were to be some of us, this relationship would have ended prematurely by our fleshy interpretations of kingdom matters.
