Topic : REST, THE KEY TO YOUR MIRACLE
Scripture :Psalm 37: 7. Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
Beloved, I welcome you to another Moment of Daily Encounter! It was Creflo Dollar that said when we rest, God works, when we work God rests!
The mystery of rest for God to take over your issues is a serious matter that the Holy Ghost wants us to consider today!
From our anchor scriptures, God said rest in me! Probably you were resting on your uncle, your brother or sister, who made fabulous promises and failed, it is time to rest in God.
Those who promised you heaven and earth since the beginning of the year where are they now?
It is time to take away your eyes from men and place it on God.
The same scripture said, “and wait patiently for God”!
This is what our generation does not like to hear, “wait” !
Waiting time is not wasting time!
Stop comparing yourself with others! My mate has done this or that only compounds your problem.
Everytone has his own time. When you keep comparing yourself with others like that you are only setting agitation to your soul, thereby prolonging your miracles:
2 Corinthians 10: 12. For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.
Don’t compare yourself with criminals or prostitutes who made it through crooked means. God said rest yourself.
Why did God say rest?
- Until you rest God will not work! Your rest in God provokes Him to work on your behalf.
How true is it?
A. Until Noah’s ark rested, the miracle of drying the flood never started. Gen. 8:4-5:Until the ark rested, that was when the miracle of decreasing the flood began!
Listen to me child of God if you don’t rest your case in God’s hand, God cannot give you that miracle that you desire!
All the sleepless nights that you are giving yourself will only raise your blood pressure. Your miracles begin the moment you learn to trust God and rest in Him.
B. Until Adam rested, before the miracle of marriage was received
Genesis 2: 21. And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
God made Adam to sleep, before giving him his miracle wife, called Eve!
Do you desire a miracle?
Then go and sleep and allow God to work! Oh you on your bed thinking when will your husband ever show up?
Probably all your mate are getting married and you are having sleepless nights? My dear, rest in the Lord! Rest yourself and stop being worried about your marital status.
- God works best when you sleep over your problems(Acts12:6-10); Until Apostle Peter went to sleep over his problem there was no miracle.
Acts 12: 6. And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison. Can you imagine a man who is expected to be killed the following morning sleeping with a death sentence hanging over his life? It is because he had caught the mystery of resting over your problems!
Beloved, I don’t know what that problem is that has beclouded your mind, what is it that is giving you sleepless nights? Please go and sleep!
Beloved, stop the worries and anxieties and rest in the Lord. Your lack of rest over that issue has delayed the miracle God proposed because until you rest, God will not work.
Remember this: Heaven is real and hell is real, where do you want to spend your eternity?

- Father thank you for your word to me today,
- Lord, I repent of my worries and anxieties and I rest in you Lord Jesus! Amen Prophetic Declaration:
- I prophesy that the situation that looks like it will soon swallow you will suddenly dry up in the name of Jesus.
- Despite the medical verdict on your fruitfulness, receive your miracle babies now in the name of Jesus.
