When a man’s ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.
Proverbs 16:7
It a good thing to please the Lord in everything we do, because that is our license for protection. When you are committed to the things of God, it makes him happy and it is a way of you pleasing him.
Look at the life of Job, Job was a faithful man and in everything he was doing it was pleasing to the Lord that was why God had to put a hedge of protection around him that not only the enemy can cross but even the devil.
In Act 2:34-35 the Bible says “… The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, Until I make thy foes thy footstool.”
Pleasing the LORD gives you access to sitting on the right hand of God and as you keep on pleasing Him while you are on His right hand, he is working on making your enemies your foot stool.
Jesus pleased is Father in heaven and God made him untouchable from those that want to harm him. Until it was time for Him to drink of the cup, no one was able to catch Him or do Him harm.
So I urge you to live a life that is pleasing to the LORD always.
Heavenly Father, thank you for being patient with me to this time, I ask that from now on, You grant me grace to continue to please you all the days of my life, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
