SOME CHURCH FOUNDERS HAVE NO BUSINESS FOUNDING A CHURCH:
THAT WAS ACTUALLY THE ONLY OPTION THEY HAD LEFT:
CHURCH FOUNDERS SHOULD PUT A SYSTEM IN PLACE THAT WILL ENCOURAGE ASSISTANT PASTORS THAT CANT BE FOUNDERS TO REMAIN FOREVER IN SERVICE TO GOD AND THE MINISTRY:
I SAID THE ABOVE FOR THE EIGHT REASONS MENTIONED BELOW:
1. A lot of founders are suffering. I am always pained when I see assistant pastors living better than General Overseers. Some founders actually go to beg food from assistant pastors of other ministries.
A Pastor of my former church said, it is only my calls and that of few others who left the ministry that he sees and he is not afraid to pick because we don’t beg the way others call and beg for even the next meal to eat.
2. A lot founders were sacked and had no choice but to start something. This is a situation and not a vision. According to the scripture, Where a tree falls, whether to the south or to the north, there it shall lie.
3. A lot of founders were retired and don’t know anything outside starting a church. They encourage themselves by saying, they shall still bring forth fruits in old age.
Forgetting the Bible also said, it is good that a man bear the yoke in his youth. You don’t learn how to use your left hand in your old age.
4. A lot of founders actually wanted a better life for their family. Hence the need to resign to secure a future for their family. Your children are in God’s hands, and not in your hands. Allow God manage them for you.
You won’t believe me, but many assistant pastors are richer than founders. Money is not title related or determined.
5. A lot of founders were not allowed to express their individual ministry under the ministry they served with, hence the need to do something different. The five stones of David must be allowed to be in the same shepherds bag with all their uniquness and difference. Otherwise each stone will create individual shepherds bag.
6. A lot of founders thought ministry is purely a matter of principles, now they have discovered that it is a matter of principles and principalities. Where principalities reign, principles don’t work without the forces of the spirit. Don’t allow any leader fool you, ministry is life and death.
7. A lot of church founders have realised that they are not wired for church operation but are ashamed and afraid of what will people say if they pack it up. You are sent to the people and not by the people.
8. Most churches don’t celebrate the return of their prodigal sons as it was in the days of Jesus. In fact, if you leave and fail it is better for the ego of your former church founder and church members. They actually meet to celebrate the failures of those who left them. Most prodigal sons prefer to dine and die with pigs, than to return home and be rejected.
IT IS WISDOM TO KNOW WHEN TO CLOSE WHAT HAS CLOSED YOUR ORIGINAL DESTINY.
YOU ARE NOT A FAILURE BECAUSE YOU CLOSED WHAT GOD DID NOT ASK YOU TO OPEN IN THE FIRST PLACE.
SUCCESS IS TO BE IN GOD’S WILL AT ALL TIMES.
Conclusively, All church operators, should make the church environment pastors friendly, so as not to lose those that are ordained to remain there for life.
