TOPIC: LET PURPOSE DRIVE YOUR LIFE NOT GUILT?
SCRIPTURE : Genesis 50: 15. And when Joseph’s brethren saw that their father was dead, they said, Joseph will peradventure hate us, and will certainly requite us all the evil which we did unto him.
Beloved, I welcome you to another Moment of Daily Encounter with the word. Today, we are we are focus is permit purpose to drive your life.
Beloved, in life there are so many things that drives people’s life! When we mean drive; we mean the propelling force that is pushing your life around!
The motivation behind your living a meaningful life. The following are things can drive people’s lives:
1.Demons: There are those who are under demonic obsessive, compulsive drive. They acts even against their own conscience. Are you one of those who carry out foolish decision and acts very awkward and funny while you regrets your actions and decision there after then you need prayer and counseling.
2. Greed: There are those who are driven by greed, avarice, covetousness
3. Anger and wickedness.
4. Materialism, desire to get rich at all costs even at the expense of their soul. Such people are ready to shed blood, join cult, do anything provided money comes.
5. Guilt: there are those who are driven by guilt!
Our anchor scripture reveals Joseph’s brother that is being driven by guilt of past life(Gen.50:15). Are you one of such person who has lived a terrible life in the past and the guilt of your past is hunting you down badly?
I have a good news for you, Jesus did not just saved your soul, He also forgive your past sin! What is that past that is currently driving your life crazy?
Today, by the anointing of the Holy Ghost I speak over your life that guilt is arrested now in the name of Jesus. Did you shed blood through abortion and you are constantly been reminded by the devil, tell the devil Jesus has forgiven you.
You stole in the past and every now and then, the guilt will not release you, if truly you have surrendered to Jesus and the guilt is still there, then meet your pastor for counsel. But if you are here this morning and you’ve not made Jesus the Lord of your life, do it now!
So what ever put your life under pressure is actually the driver of your life! What ever set your life or keep your life in motion is indeed driving your life!
Hence the Holy Ghost is saying the only thing that is permitted to drive your life around is understanding of God’s purpose for your life and that is what we called vision.
Hence, the main factor that should drive your life should be God! If God is not driving your life certainly something else must be driving your life.
Why should God’s purpose or vision drive your life?
It is because you exist solely for God! He made you for His own purpose and when that purpose is discovered, it becomes a vision.
Colossians 1: 16. For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him , and for him:
All things were created by God and that include you and I! We all came from a source and that is God! Hence the controlling factor of your life must be God. Any other that thing that is currently driving you crazy does not worth it. Ask yourself the question “what is driving my life” today.
Assignment : Check your life today and ask sincerely what is it that is driving my life?
Remember this: Heaven is real and hell is real! If you leave this world without Jesus,it is eternal regrets in hell.
Prayer points :
– Father thank you for your word to me today,
– Father, I receive grace never to allow my life to be driven by any thing outside you LORD in Jesus name.
Prophetic Declaration :
– I prophesy the release of grace! Wherever you are tied down by your past mistakes, past sin or failure, you are loose in the name of Jesus
– You are entering a new realm of favour and unending joy in the name of Jesus.
-Receive your peace back now in the name of Jesus.
