ANCHOR SCRIPTURE(S): ROMANS 10:17
MESSAGE TOPIC: INGREDIENTS OF FAITH

SERVICE OBJECTIVE(S): Understudying those ingredients that make for Bible faith
Every product is made of raw materials or ingredients; every output is a product of input
Every success is a function of secrets
If faith is the desired outcome then there is the desired input
INGREDIENTS OF FAITH:
1. The knowledge of God (Heb. 11:6; Dan. 11:32; Heb. 11:32-34; Phil. 3:10; Gal. 2:20)
Knowing God is a platform for faith; to know God is to believe and trust Him
In order to really trust people you must really know them; as it is in the physical so it is in the spiritual
The knowledge of God equals exploits (Dan. 11:32); faith in God equals exploits (Heb. 11:32-34)
Therefore, the knowledge of God equals faith in God
Instead of praying for faith, your prayer should be, ‘That I may know You’ (Phil. 3:10)
The reason why there is a bankruptcy of faith in our generation is because there is a bankruptcy of the knowledge of God
2. The knowledge (revelation) of God’s Word (Rom. 10:8, 17; John 1:1-5; Ps. 103:1-5; Heb. 6:12; 2 Pet. 1:3-4)
The Word of God is the food of faith; the Word of God is the fuel for faith (Rom. 10:8,17)
The Word of God communicates faith (Rom. 10:8,17)
2a. The Word of God reveals the character of the Almighty because God and His Word are One (John 1:1-5)
The revelation of the Word of God will show you who God is and to know Who God is, is to have faith!
2b. The Word of God reveals what God has done before and how He did them (Ps. 103:1-5)
If you can see what God has done before, you can expect Him to do it again.
2c. The Word of God reveals to you the promises of God to your life (Heb. 6:12; 2 Pet. 1:3-4)
The Word of God shows you your bill of rights (2 Pet. 1:3)
The Word of God shows you possibilities and responsibilities
3. The knowledge (understanding) of the purpose and will of God (1 John 5:14; Isa. 14:27; Deut. 28:15, 23-24; Jer. 29:10; Dan. 9:1-3; Matt. 8:2-3)
Any area you understand what the will of God is, in that area there is an unusual audacity of faith. (1 John 5:14)
If God wants it, who can stop Him? (Isa. 14:27)
You don’t struggle to get God to do what He is interested in doing
The Will of God is answered prayer waiting to be prayed
Don’t struggle for faith, struggle to know the will of God; if purpose is known, the struggle is over.
There is a such a ruggedity of faith when you understand that you are on the path of purpose.
Every time you find purpose you find faith and when you find faith, you find rest (Heb. 4:3)
Faith in the will of God is the strongest realm of faith; it is stronger than faith in the power of God.
What keeps us praying for Nigeria and having faith in the rescue of our nation is the understanding of the prophetic purpose of God for this nation.
It is the agenda of God for this nation to be a catalyst for global evangelisation
4. The testimonies of God’s Acts (Luke 1:35-38,45; Mal. 3:6; Heb. 13:8; Rev. 19:10b; 1 Sam. 17:34-37)
What God has done in your life and in the life of others strengthens faith
4a. Testimonies bring joy and guidance/counsel (Ps. 119:24)
4b. Testimonies reveal your inheritance (Ps. 119:111)
Testimonies reveal your possibilities in God
4c. Testimonies are prophecies (Rev. 19:10b)
God’ power and mercy is universal in applicability
5. The lifestyle of uprightness, with a conscience that is void of offence towards God and men (Acts 24:16; Prov. 28:1; 30:30; John 14:30; 1 Sam. 12:3-5, 16-18)
When conscience is defiled, boldness is deflated.
Avoid a conscience that is guilty; if guilt arrives, avoid the sustenance of guilt.
COUNSEL:
Show value for your life by taking the time to build your faith because the just shall live by faith (Hab. 2:4)
PRAYERS
Father, thank You for Your Word to me today. To You alone be all the glory, Lord in Jesus’ Name.
Father, I am in need of that Holy fear that I used to have; I need a restoration in every area of my life Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
Father, I ask that You will cause me to know You; that I may know You and the power of Your resurrection; help me Lord to know You intimately; draw me closer to Yourself Lord, in Jesus’ Name. (Phil. 3:10)
Father, open my eyes to Your promises for my life in Your Word; help me to see what I need to see of Your promises for my life in Your Word; open my eyes to Your promises Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
Father, let Your Divine purpose for my life, my family, the church and this nation come to pass in this season Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
Father, I receive the grace to exercise my conscience to be void of offence towards God and man; I ask for forgiveness for anything that may limit my operation of faith Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
– Every area of life where you need to find God’s purpose, I declare it is done!
– I prophesy to you today, help is on the way!
– You shall fulfil your days
COMMUNION FOCUS:
– Communion for the baptism of the real spirit of faith.
