I FINISHED THE BIBLE 3 TIMES EVERY YEAR CONSISTENTLY FOR 50 YEARS NOW AND IT HAS CHANGED MY LIFE FOREVER

    Let’s pray. Let’s believe that God Will speak to us through His word today. Father, in the Name of Jesus. I pray that You will bless Your people with Your wonderful word. It’s a prayer from my heart that You strengthen Your people today.
    Psalm 19:116

FOCUS ON CHRIST TO FULFILL PURPOSE.

When Jesus was tempted, He answered all temptations with scriptures. He didn’t answer with experience. When God the Father said to Him ‘ this is My Beloved, in whom I am well pleased. The devil heard Him, situations heard Him, everybody heard Him. But the devil still went ahead to tempt Him, if he was the Son of God. Jesus didn’t answer him with experience rather He answered him with the Word. Matthew 4:1-7.

Matthew 5: 17-18.
The Lord even told us that not one jot of the Scriptures is going to pass away.

Now, a jot is a little letter in the Hebrew word. Even a little coma in the Bible is powerful.

Never read it carelessly. Here, the Lord clearly stated that the Scriptures is very accurate and full of Authority.
2 Timothy 3:16.
2 Peter 1:20-21
2 Peter 3:1-2.
Peter made it very clear that what was spoken by the Prophets and by the Apostles are of same effect (Powerful).
2 Peter 3:15-16.
Psalm 12:16. The words of God are pure words. This makes it clear that God’s word is perfect. The old and new testament confirm and complete each other.
They are the all sufficient revelation of God. This is to show you that God’s word is pure.
You cannot see results if you neglect any part of the Bible.

I do read the Bible 3 times every year. And I have been doing that for 50 years now consistently and it has changed my life.

THE RESULTS (EFFECTS) OF THE BIBLE.

Hebrews 4:12.
God’s word is Spiritual. We cannot receive God’s word until sin is removed from our life. You can read the Bible but you cannot receive it or understand it with sin in your life. James 1:21.
When you stay away from sin then the word of God which is active and alive will be begin to have effect in your life.

Matthew 10:34-35.
The word is capable of dividing. Divide the righteous from the sinners. Revelation 1:16.

  1. Faith : Romans 10:17.

Faith has to be exercised to be developed. 1 Chronicles 17:23. Faith has to be expressed, faith has to be exercised to gain expression. When you tell God to do what He said, you are exercising your faith.

Faith is the response of the human soul when we approach God. Hebrews 11:6.
So, he who come to God must believe. So, faith is the result of the word of God.
Don’t read chapters, read thought. Genesis 12:1, Psalm 17:4

  1. Victory over sin: psalm 17:4. It means through the word, I stay off the path of the devil.
    Psalm 119:1-3.

When the word is in you, prayer will be in you. Because the word triggers fellowship. It is the word that stirs prayer and not the other way round. When the word is in you, they will be no desire of sin in you.

  1. Cleansing: Ephesians 5:25.

I am just thankful to the Lord for His word. The word is what keeps you in ministry. John 15:3, John 5:39.
Psalm 40:7.

THE PROOF THAT THE WORD OF GOD IS AUTHENTIC?

Fulfilled prophecies.
Israel, where I come from is an example of fulfilled prophecies.
We as God’s people need to know that God’s word is real and true.
Father, give Your people the hunger to love Your Word.
