ANCHOR SCRIPTURE(S): ROMANS 12:20-21; GALATIANS 6:9.
MESSAGE TOPIC: HINDRANCES TO THE LOVE LIFE (1&2)

SERVICE OBJECTIVE(S): Understanding the factors that make living the life of love difficult
God is Love and does everything on the platform of love (1 John 4:8; John 3:16)
The only debt you are meant to owe is the debt of love (Rom. 13:8-10).
The walk of love is the fulfilment of the commandments (Rom. 13:10).
God has also commanded His people to live the love life (1 John 4:8).
HINDRANCES TO THE LOVE LIFE:
1. Love deprivation (1 Thess. 4:1; 2 Cor. 4:1)
Love deprivation, especially in childhood, is a major cause of the lack of love demonstration in adulthood (2 Cor. 4:1)
People are only able to release what they have received
Children who have been love deprived eventually end up with the inability to receive and give love
Parents, do all you can to pour love on children.
Hatred is born out of love bankruptcy
If we want to change the world up, we must first start from the ground.
We live in a world that is dying of lovelessness.
THINGS TO NOTE ON LOVE DEPRIVATION:
1a. Deliveries are the products of deposits
If we are going to change the world and change the love climate in this world, we are going to change it from how children are raised.
How you are living your life in front of your children is affecting their future
It is easier to groom a child than to repair an adult.
2. Human ingratitude (2 Tim. 3:1-2)
When you do things for people and they are absolutely ungrateful, it makes one reluctant to do things for people anymore
You do things for people and they act in outright unthankful ways, until you come to the point where you ask yourself, who do you help?
If you mind people’s reactions to your effort, you will lose destiny and you won’t take the right actions
Your character is a major determinant of your destiny.
WHAT MAKES PEOPLE UNGRATEFUL?
2a. An entitlement mentality
2b. The spell of pride and arrogance (2 Tim. 3:2)
2c. Poor value system
2d. The spell of forgetfulness (Ps. 103:1-2; Heb. 6:10)
To say thank you (show gratitude) to people you think you are bigger than is the humility that sustains authority
Let us come to the point that we do things for God and not for people; that is what sustains authority
WHY WE MUST CONTINUE TO DO THINGS FOR PEOPLE:
i. It is commanded (Job 42:10)
ii. For every Orpah that will abandon you, there is a Ruth that will follow you all the way
3. Human wickedness and misbehaviour (Ps. 109:4; Prov. 17:13; Ps. 109:5)
Human actions and misbehaviour especially in return for love, are a hindrance to your love life
Human actions and misbehaviour is rewarding people with malicious actions
CATEGORIES OF PEOPLE THAT REWARD EVIL FOR GOOD:
3a. Deception and insincerity
When people return deception for compassion, it just deters you; you don’t know who to help anymore.
3b. Conspiracies and gang ups (1 Pet. 3:13)
Whenever you have been assisted, don’t resist those who assisted you.
3c. Betrayal and unfaithfulness
Human beings are the greatest assets and also the greatest liabilities – Bishop David Oyedepo
3d. Disloyalty and Absalomic operations
Don’t become an enemy of anyone who pulled you out of captivity
Any door that has ever given you passage, don’t bang it because you may need it another time
for something else and it won’t be available
Whatever is not yours will never last in your hands
Don’t forget any platform that gave you a voice, otherwise you lose your voice
4. Company with the loveless and the wicked (Prov. 13:20; 1 Cor. 15:33)
Character is affected by company; association brings assimilation
Associate with the loving and you will be loving but associate with the wicked and loveless and that will destroy your life
Don’t allow people with divergent principles to ruin your life
Avoid the company of haters so that your conscience can be free and love can flow from your heart
If people are tearing down somebody, jump and pass
Don’t let anybody recruit you into their hatred or gossip company
There are people who are out to destroy their own lives don’t let them destroy yours too
Until you are concerned about who your friends are, you are not interested in your future
Until you are concerned about your company, you are not concerned about your destiny
When you keep the company of heartless, wicked and brutal people it destroys you
Your company affects your mind set and your lifestyle
5. Lack of value for God and man (Mark 12:30-31; 1 John 4:20; 4:8; Rom. 14:15)
True spirituality is reflected in value for both God and man
Real value and love for God will translate into love and value for man
The closer and deeper we get to God, the more loving, compassionate and lovable we become
The more grateful you are the more things you will have to be grateful for
Distance from God equals hatred for people (1 John 4:8)
Anytime you see a person who loves God, love flows for people
PRAYERS
Father, thank You for Your Word to us today. To You be all the glory Lord, in Jesus Name.
Father, thank You for answered prayers so far. Thank You for victories, Blessings,
breakthroughs and mercies. To You be all the praise, Lord in Jesus Name – Psalms 136:1-4.
Father, I ask for the Baptism of the Spirit of love. Help me, Lord to overcome the hindrances to
the life of love, Lord in Jesus’ Name – 2 Tim. 1:6-7.
Father, we thank You because our Nation, Nigeria is the graveyard of terrorists, kidnappers, bandits, killers and their sponsors in this season, in the Name of Jesus Christ. We ask, Lord that the earth of our Nation will continue to bury the wicked in the land, Lord in Jesus Name – Ezek. 32:24.
Father, we decree that the plots, plans and agenda of the enemy to abort Your plan for our Nation in this season be absolutely and totally frustrated, in Jesus’ Name – Job 5:12-13.
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
– The Lord will help you overcome agents of the enemy that come to attack your love life
– Every gang up and conspiracy against you will never be able to stop you!
– That satanic altar or spell of backwardness, your spell is broken now!
– That spirit of reproach and disgrace, today I take authority over that garment of reproach and declare it is set on fire right now!
– Whatever my Father in Heaven has not planted in your body is flushed out now!
– There is the release of a financial mantle; everywhere your money is tied down, I declare it is released right now!
– There is a fresh fire impartation – for prayer, worship, warfare, fresh revival fire; receive it now!
– Every altar fighting my destiny, you are set on fire now!
– Every spirit of death looking for you, today, that death devil leaves you alone and returns back to hell!
– That touch that will give you a turnaround, under the next 24hours may you receive it!
– Every agenda of death and destruction against your life is sent back to hell
– Every killer group and cell in our city and nation the earth shall be their graveyard!
– Every healing, deliverance, breakthrough, freedom and fire impartation that is here for you, receive it now!
– Every demonic power taking you back to your father’s house is broken now!
– Every satanic deposit in your father’s house that wants to kill anyone is destroyed!
– Every mountain from hell is dissolved!
– Everything locked up in your life is unlocked now!
IMPARTATION DECLARATIONS:
– I prophesy light upon your life, family, destiny and the work of your hands
– I decree that God will enlighten your path
– I decree a new day and season
– I decree direction, help and mercy from above upon your life!
– You shall not die or be cut short before your time!
– I decree today, every embargo placed on what is in your hands that embargo is lifted!
– The full potentials of what is in your hands is released now!
– I decree help from above upon what you do!
– Systems are put under pressure; they lose their sleep, peace and rest until all that is yours is released to you!
– I decree the end of the spell of delay, stagnation, rejection and disfavour!
– Whatever you are trusting God for with what you have lifted, I declare them released for you now!
