According to the popular faith scriptures Heb 11:1, “Now FAITH is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” and Mark 11:23, “For verily I say unto you that, whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea and shall not doubt in his heart but shall believe that those things which he sayeth shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he sayeth.” It is so clear that Faith is highly relevant to continually lift or surmount every mountain of challenge that we face. Especially, to continue in victorious living.
It is no doubt that God delights in our victory in life. That is why he has equipped us with weapons of warfare, which His word describes as NON-CARNAL, of which faith (the shield of faith to be precise) is one.
Victory over what, you might want to ask. Well, victory is needed over unbelief or doubt, over every day because the days are evil. Also, over all forces of darkness on our way to the fulfillment of destiny. Just to mention but a few. That is why Faith is key, to help us believe and utilize every single word of God assuring us of our victory in Christ Jesus; like 1st John 5:4.
Apart from attaining Victory in life, Faith is a secret ingredient that should be added to the menu if any man wants to please God, as the Bible rightly said in Heb 11:6, “But without Faith, it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.”. Believing in what exactly? It is quite simple. The word has made it clear in Heb 11:6. Having Faith in God through His infallible word. Believing in the authenticity and validity of God’s word is what makes it possible for you to receive from Him. It is what assures you of Victory on all sides.
Also, coming to the realization of the creative power of the word of God, helps you to create your world by your word (especially when sourced from the word of God), following the steps of God in Gen1:1-31. You can as well command victory standing on this creativity might of the word of God, knowing fully well that it is to you according to your faith.
In addition, recognizing the fast and effective response of the word of God in the face of confrontations is a major plus to any believer, according to Heb 4:12, “For the word of God is quick and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” It keeps you on the go, fear is taken away and you become a terror to the enemy and his forces. Victory then becomes a lifestyle in Christ Jesus, and not outside Him.
