DON’T BE A DELIBERATE EVIL DOER, LET YOUR HEART BE SET AT PLEASING GOD AND LIVING AT PEACE WITH MEN
IF YOU’RE GOING TO SEE THE GLORY OF GOD THROUGH YOUR PRAISE, WE MUST WALK IN LOVE AND ONENESS WITH THE BRETHREN
GOD CANNOT BE PRESENT WHERE LOVE IS ABSENT
YOU’RE WASTING YOUR TIME IF YOU ARE SINGING AND DANCING IN CHURCH WHEN THERE’S A DAGGER IN YOUR HEART AGAINST YOUR BROTHER OR SISTER
What are the secrets of the praise that brings His glory? I saw four secrets here.
1. 2 Chronicles 5:12. “They were arrayed in white linen”. What is the meaning of that? It means;
a. Maintain uprightness and Godliness. If the praise must bring the glory, we must maintain uprightness and Godliness. Psalm 29:2.
Maintaining uprightness and Godliness implies two things; first, exercise your conscience to be void of offense towards God and man. Acts 24:16.
Don’t look for the trouble of God and don’t look for the trouble of man. Be at peace with God and be at peace with men. There are people we see today that are trouble looking for where to happen.
Don’t be a deliberate evil doer, let your heart be set at pleasing God and living at peace with men – it’s a secret of the glory.
2. The Bible said, “They were as one”, the Priests were as one. What is the meaning of that? It means, walk in love and oneness with the brethren. If you’re going to see the glory of God through your praise, we must walk in love and oneness with the brethren and for two reasons. I will give the first reason in this service.
a. The climate of love is the dwelling place of God. 1 John 4:8. God cannot be present where love is absent.
Love absent in the home, church, love absent among brethren and workers. “The Priests were as one”. Beloved, lovelessness is equal to Godlessness, it doesn’t lead us anywhere, do everything you can to walk in love.
After the night vigil, I was on my way out, in need of rest, stressed out from one week of preaching morning and night and the greatest miracle is that the voice is helped.
On my way out, I saw an elderly woman with her daughter or somebody, I think they had a challenge. I was trying to rush into the car and then saw them standing there and when I got close to them, I helped their situation and the tiredness evaporated and I stood near here and held her closely. I placed my hand around her and began to encourage her, comfort her and to pray for her.
The protocol officer walking with me, said, “oh, this is too much, after such a night like this.
I can see that one of your greatest secrets is your heart for people”. Love.
Some of the times where I was ever restless or sleepless the most was because of people’s problems, issues bothering people.
If we are going to praise God, you see, you dance and dance in Church, praise and praise in Church and there’s dagger in your heart against your brother and there’s bitterness against your brother and your sister, no talking terms, God is saying, “you’re wasting your time, you’re just doing bodily exercise, I’m not aware of your dancing and singing”.
