TESTIMONIES & LOVE FEAST: Ps 92:1-2; Ps 100:1-4. A.
INTRODUCTION: It is confirmed from the Scripture that Testimonies are testaments of the reality and the love of God to His children (Ps. 92:2). Testimony validates and authenticates the Word of God. Now, the question is, why do we share testimonies? Why we share testimonies?
1. Testimony steers up faith in the ears of the hearers. Acts 14:3. Faith is communicated by hearing the acts of faith in others. The testimony of one person has the potential to deliver for another. It steers up the faith that what is possible for one is also a possibility for another.
2. Testimony brings perfection to God’s actions. Luke 17:13-19. Nothing brings wholeness like testimonies. Appreciation of the acts of God conveys completion. To testify to what He has already done is to qualify for what He will do. Heb 11:5. 3. Testimonies are fingers of God at work. It doesn’t matter who it happens to. As long as it happens on the basis of God’s Word, it is an instrument of triumph in your hands.
B. COUNSEL Brethren are therefore encouraged to share testimonies in their fellowship to authenticate and validate the Word of God.
C. PRACTICAL APPLICATION Share the testimonies of His faithfulness in your life
