CHANGE OF LEVEL OF AUTHORITY IS ONE OF THE MAJOR OBJECTIVES OF THE PRAYER ALTAR.
TRANSFIGURATION IS NOT ANYTHING DRAMATIC, IT IS GAINING A HIGHER LEVEL OF COMMAND ON THE ALTAR OF PRAYER!
GETTING THINGS FROM GOD CAN BE GREAT BUT GAINING COMMAND OVER THINGS IS GREATER.
IT’S NOT ABOUT THE NOISE ON THE ALTAR OF PRAYER, IT’S ABOUT THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF THE OBJECTIVES OF THE PRAYER ALTAR.
THE ALTAR OF PRAYER IS ORDAINED THE ALTAR OF TRANSFIGURATION, TRANSFORMATION AND SPIRITUAL CHANGE OF LEVELS OF AUTHORITY NOT AN ALTAR OF CRYING!

Youth Chapel Covenant Hour of Prayer || 17th January, 2023.
Praise the Lord! I’m finally on the Covenant Highways of life! Congratulations!
We started yesterday looking at the exhortation line for this week which is, ‘PRAYER DOES NOT ALWAYS CHANGE THINGS, PRAYER CHANGES PEOPLE’.
As we behold Him… 2 Corinthians 2:18. One of the places that we behold Him is in the place of prayer.
Let’s come boldly to the throne of grace where we will obtain mercy and access Hebrews 4:16. So the altar of prayer does not only change things, it changes people! And every change that we experience enhances the level of our Spiritual authority! Change equals take charge. As we experience these changes, our level of authority is enhanced.
-In the Precious Name of Jesus, no one will go through this fast and still remain at the same level of Spiritual authority.
We saw Moses transfigured Exodus 34:27-35. Moses said in Acts 3:22 …Him shall ye hear in whatever that He says unto you, His name is Jesus. And we saw Him in Luke 9:29, and as He prayed, the fashion of His countenance was altered… This is a change of level for Spiritual authority!
And Jesus said, ‘As my father has sent me even so have I sent you… John 17:18. So we are entitled to change of levels on the altar of prayer. He said unto you, ‘Peace unto you… John 20:11.
Jesus came as a kind of Moses, we are here as a kind of Jesus!
Now, the two of them experienced transfiguration on the altar of prayer so we are entitled to experience transfiguration on the altar of prayer.
I mean, getting things from God can be great but gaining command over things is greater.
Every time you need something, you go back to Him again disturbing Him but when you gain command over it, you are in command. So we should pray our way into higher levels of command on the altar of prayer, that’s what we call transfiguration, not anything dramatic that you are looking for where it is.
And when Jesus came out of that (transfiguration), the people saw the mighty power of God so it’s about power and authority over all devils Luke 9:43. That is from the Mount of transfiguration. Next levels of empowerment! Next levels of authority!
That demoniac couldn’t stand, he saw Jesus and began to shout saying, ‘I know who you are… You read the story from Luke 9:39-43.
So the altar of prayer is ordained for our change of level of Spiritual authority. Empowerment cum authority!
Jesus gave them power and authority over all devils Luke 9:1. It’s not about the noise on the altar of prayer, it’s about the outcome from prayers. I was once in a conference many years ago in the 1970s. Somebody was praying and shouting.
She was the only person praying in that place, she was the only voice being heard in that place.
I don’t know whether she got anything from it. It’s not about the noise, it’s about the consciousness of the objectives of the prayer altar.
Can I tell you, something happened years ago.
I came back from a Mountain in prayers and the Lord said to me, ‘Go to that Church and you will preach there today’! Ah! Ah! I got there and said, ‘Excuse me!
Can I see the Pastor, I’m preaching here this morning’! And he said yes, that the Lord told him that somebody is coming here this morning! And so no games! Authority!
You can imagine walking to a Church and saying, ‘I’m preaching here this morning’! Sunday morning oo, not that you came on Saturday to prepare for it.
I was in a fast in the Book of Acts of the Apostle and then I was invited to a place to minister. I don’t know when I got to the back. I just saw that I was seeing the back of the people no more the front. I floated to the back not that I went to the back.
Change of level of Spiritual authority. I was waiting on the Lord one day and then there was this family who had been barren for fourteen years.
So I went to check on them because they were in my heart to bless. As I was speaking on the cushion chair, the two of them fell down from their chairs and she became pregnant.
Change of level of authority is one of the major objectives of the prayer altar. My prayer is that you are coming out of this, you say to this thing, ‘Go’! And it will go! You say to that thing, ‘Come’! And it will come!
So it’s not about your clothes shining but what will come out of it. It’s not about you sweating but it’s about you experiencing a change of level.
-And we shall as individuals experience a dramatic change of level! The things that you used to struggle with will be clearing the way for you!
Jesus came and demons were screaming, ‘Have you come to torment us? You know, there is a level where you cast out devils and you torment devils! Matthew 8:29. So there is a casting of devils at one level and then there is a tormenting of devils at another level!
There is a destruction of devils at another level! We are changing levels! Everybody is changing levels! Everyone who’s heart is in it is changing levels. Thank you Jesus.
So the altar of prayer is ordained the altar of transfiguration, transformation, Spiritual change of levels of authority not crying and crying. Praise God!
We were in a meeting and somebody was delivered from insanity in our crusade and then the demons came back to him which is normal because if they come and find it empty they will come back. And then, she became wild like a wounded lion.
They were holding her down, these were folks that had muscles. ‘Yeah! You can’t go’! And they called me and said, ‘Bro David, there is a problem here’!
So I got there and said, ‘Where is the person, is this a problem? Leave her, loose her’! And I pointed my long fingers and said, ‘The angel that left their first estate can’t have their habitation here, they are bound in chains under darkness, what are you doing here? Jude 1:6. And then she took a deep breath and all the demons left!
Change of level of Spiritual authority. Look forward to that as one of the core of prayer and fasting! And that’s what we shall have in the Name of Jesus Christ!
So when we talk about the change of name, we are just talking about the change of level. You are trading with some things in the market and suddenly you are now placed over ten cities. Change of level! And suddenly you are placed over five cities! Change of level!
So we saw the level of Jacob change as he stood on that altar of prayer in Genesis 32:24-28- ‘My life is in shambles, I won’t let you go!
There must be a change of story, I won’t let you go’!
Somebody must change on the altar of prayer and say, ‘I must experience a change, I’ve been around this level for so long, bring me into another level in my Spiritual life’!
That’s what he was saying! God asked, ‘What is thy name? Your name shall no longer be Jacob but Israel’! Genesis 32:28.
-May we prevail in prayers to our next level!
Abram the great intercessor, the Lord said to him, ‘Your name shall no longer be Abram but Abraham’. Eh! You hear? I’m changing your story.
Change of name is all about change of story Genesis 17:15-16… She shall be called a mother of nations! That’s where we are coming from. Abraham’s walk with God was so qualitative that he secured a change of story via it.
He said walk before me my friend and watch what I’ll do for you! I’ll give you a change of name and there is something unusual that I’ll change for you. If you check that chapter seventeen of Genesis, He said, ‘Walk before me and be thou perfect’! I’m going to establish my covenant with you! I’ve loved you and I’m satisfied! Genesis 17:2.
And you could see his heart interceding for Sodom and Gomorrah in chapter eighteen. We will always expect a change of story from the altar of prayer. Amen! Thank God for things, it can be very great but thank God for gaining higher command, they are far more greater!
You walk with God to a point that even when you are attacked in the night, your Spirit man that never sleeps rises up to the occasion. Never sleep!
Many are following some balloon dreams all around town. Balloon dreams that has no bearing with God.
Balloon dreams come to derail their lives because of their shallow walk with God but on the prayer altar, we gain stamina. These waves of thoughts and ideas come and you can discard them because they don’t belong to you!
-Somebody’s story has just changed!
Jesus went to the mount of temptation and He returned as Jesus the Christ, the anointed one! He returned anointed, empowered by the Spirit of God. And He said to them, ‘Who do you say that I am? I mean this discussion began from verse thirteen of Matthew chapter sixteen.
Then He said in verse fifteen to them, ‘Now, you are my disciples, who do you say that I am? And then Peter said, ‘Thou art Christ’! Matthew 16:16.
The word Christ means the anointed one. He just came back and blew the Word open! Change of levels! Change of status! Change of Spiritual authority! That’s what you should expect as an outcome here!
-No devil will take you for a ride again!
He said, ‘This kind goeth not out except by prayer and fasting… Matthew 17:21. You are now praying and fasting. Every devil must learn to stay clear from you!
If there is anybody that they are fighting against now, I mean the world of demons. I must be one of them. But I’m just as refreshed as anybody already seated in Heaven! So you are just wasting time fighting me!
I won’t need to fight you, some forces are behind me that will fight with you till you are finished so that when you get to hell you will now remember and say, ‘What did I do?
You get to a point in your life where every devil will advise themselves to stay off saying, ‘Hey! Have you come to destroy us? They will just clear! You step in and they clear out!
-You are getting into realms this month that you have never imagined in your life! You are not created a prayer project! No!
You are a child of the Living God! When a child is a baby, I mean you are not different from a servant! Grow up! Let’s grow up from dying for things to gaining authority! Move to the next level! Praise God! It’s not about anybody being called to be a Pastor. I’ve been experiencing God’s power longest time Sir by the grace of God with a heart panting after God.
You have been molested enough!
No more! You have been suppressed enough! You have been oppressed enough! No more and this is the platform that God has ordained for us as a lifetime opportunity for a change of story!

Amen! Now, humorous story! My cousin said that my wife had miscarriage. And I said, ‘It cannot happen, can I have my food?’ And it ended there! Not that you are now praying another prayer somewhere else! Authority! Now, during the building of Faith Tabernacle, I saw the Hand of God.
They said that they need 30 million naira tomorrow and I say, ‘Carry on’! And tomorrow the 30 million naira comes! No service oo! We need 70 million naira! Carry on my friend!
One time they said, ‘Why don’t we stop Faith Academy and face Faith Tabernacle’! I said, ‘Which one can you do? The man doing it, did He complain? The man that is up there doing it, did He complain? Carry on my friend! There was nothing physical but the Spiritual command was there!
-It’s your next level! All these cringing and struggling! It’s your next level! Thank You, Jesus! Watch out for it! You must outgrow things right now and gain command over them in the Name of Jesus!
Now, the good news is that God is set to change your story! He is set to change my story!
Everyone of us will emerge from this prayer and fasting season with our undeniable change of level! So shall it be! Today being the third day, expect your rising into the next level! Except your open testimonies!
