IT’S AMAZING THAT PEOPLE TODAY, WHEN THEY ARE ATTACKED IN OTHER AREAS OF THEIR LIFE, THEY RISE UP WITH VIOLENCE BUT WHEN IT IS ABOUT SIN, THEY LAUGH ABOUT IT.

SIN IS THE GREATEST ASSAULT OF THE ENEMY. WE MUST BE AGGRESSIVE ABOUT OUR CONFRONTATION AGAINST SIN.

2. A Lying Spirit

1 Kings 22:22
You must understand that there is what the scripture refers to as a lying spirit. What does it do? When a person is under the influence of that spirit they lie with ease.

There are people today, when they lie there is no need for fabrication and construction. As you ask, they answer and all of the answers are arranged together. None of them is out of order. It’s a lying spirit.

Some liars are very good at it. Except God reveals it to you , you will not know. Hear this – lying is not only in words, lying is also with action. We have today those that falsify all manner of things. Falsify certificate and all manner of things . The Bible says “he that maketh a lie…”, so it not just speaking a lie, you can also make a lie.

There are others who are living a lie, everything about them is a lie.

There are people who when you call their name, they are not even sure who you are talking about because they have different names for different situations. It is a product of what the scripture calls a lying spirit.

This is prevalent in our day and age today. Many people today are speaking lies, others are making lies and others are living lies.

– Any one under the influence of that spirit under the sound of my voice, today is your day of liberty.

There are these forces that you and I must come against, we must confront them.

The Bible says “from the time of John the Baptist, the kingdom of God suffers violence and the violent taketh it by force”. So you must engage spiritual force against this contention.

Don’t take it easy with them. If you find yourself one day saying something that is untrue, go before God and say “No!

I refuse to allow this spirit take hold of me” don’t forget it may not show it’s hands but it does not lack a hold. So break the hold.

We must be aggressive about our confrontation against sin. It’s amazing that you find people today, when they are attacked in other areas of their life, they rise up with violence but when it is about sin, they laugh about it. Sin is the greatest assault of the enemy.

Do you think Satan needs to take your money to take you to hell? The target of Satan is not your money or your health, He wants to get you to hell and how will he do it without sin?

Satan may touch the money of a man but touching his soul is the real damage.

Hell is for Satan and his angels and he is looking for many to take there with him. That is the agenda of the enemy. So prioritize your battle against sin and confront it aggressively

Don’t forget earlier that we said to win this war, we need to put up a flight and the fight you put up is the fight of faith. Take up the armour of the Spirit , you take up the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God and with that you are able to step into victory.

– Somebody here is stepping into victory.

Benefits of Godliness

1. It empowers believers for supernatural breakthroughs.
1 Thessalonians 2:10, Acts 14:8-11
Paul was a man of sanctity and as a result He was a man that operated in uncommon Breakthroughs. He was an individual that operated on the frequency of the unimaginable

Acts 19:14-15

Sanctification is the highway to breakthrough. (Psalms 5:12). When favour comes on your life, breakthrough is the outcome.

2. Access to fresh unction

If you want to see power then live your life with sanctity. Sanctification is the key.
Proverbs 1:23

The outpouring of the Spirit of God responds to our turning at His reproof. That is why the cleaner you are, the more access you have to His unction.

Luke 5:37-39

Until your life is a new life, you can’t be a candidate for the power of God. You know what will happen if you put diesel into a petrol engine, that car will become a patient. The power of God is like fuel, and your life is the engine. If the fuel is wrong instead of helping the engine work, it will help the engine knock. That is why those who want to see power must learn to live with sanctification.

– May the power of God not knock anyone.

That is why you and I must ensure we position ourselves for the flow of God’s power.
