THE SECRET BEHIND A SWEATLESS CHEERFUL GIVING LIFE IS GIVING ONESELF TO GOD FIRST.
YOUR STRUGGLE IN GIVING IS TRACEABLE TO WHERE YOUR HEART IS.
WHEN YOU ARE TRULY IN LOVE WITH GOD, GIVING TO HIS CAUSE BECOMES A NATURAL THING.

Now, Spiritual Stewardship pays the most as being the series that we are looking at and today we are looking at ‘GIVING TOWARDS KINGDOM ADVANCEMENT ENDEAVOURS’.
But the Lord is asking me to take you to the foundation of a sweatless giving life 2 Corinthians 8:1-5. Let’s go to the root otherwise, you will be struggling for life. That is the mystery behind a sweatless giving life – They first gave their own selves to the Lord. It’s not a gimmick, it is not bring ten naira get twenty naira.
They first gave their own selves to the Lord and then to us by the will of God. Proverbs 23:26, giving is not banking, giving that is not love motivated is a waste. So the secret behind a sweatless cheerful giving life is giving oneself to God first.
Your person is your greatest asset, so when you give your person to God, your possession will have no meaning – You will have hindrances, you won’t lack nothing!
I have given all I have at one time or the other without knowing where the next food will come from and the next food didn’t fail. You give yourself to the Lord first. Your struggle in giving is traceable to where your heart is.
Wherever your heart is, there your treasure is also, we know that from Scriptures. If your heart is in Jesus, your treasure will flow naturally, you are not struggling with it. My wife is here, you can ask her whether she has ever needed to ask me of anything, I’m sensible enough!
The connection is deep, so the response is natural, you are not struggling here. When you are truly in love with God, giving to His Cause becomes a natural thing you are not struggling Matthew 6:21.
We had one issue one time and my son, Bishop Abioye said, ‘Eh!
We needed you so much’. And I said, ‘God Himself knows that the only thing remaining is my body when it comes to giving and He is free to take it’!
You are not struggling, Sir.
Please reposition your heart, it will make your giving life delight some, there will be no stress.
There are many Ministers including Founders of Churches Sir who are still struggling with their giving life, they have become a nuisance to the people they are overseeing because they are always in need. When some are coming, they will tell their children, ‘Tell them that I’m not around!
They are telling their children to lie because he’s coming with another problem – Because his giving life has not been released and the point of release is the repositioning of the heart 2 Corinthians 8:5.
Sir, one can hang around the Church for 50 years and not experience any financial favour.
Kenneth Hagin wrote in one of his books, he said, ‘Lord, I have been giving and I’m not seeing anything’! He said, ‘Yes, you are obedient but you are not willing, I said if you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good of the land’! You are obedient but you are not willing, the two must go together.
You are facing challenges, oh yes! That’s why you are giving! But are you willingly giving? You know, they are all those minor minor things and He will tell you the way it is. Thank you, Jesus! Isaiah 1:19. You can’t have a heart for God and have problems with giving for His Cause and to the Cause of the needs of the needy around you as prompted by the Holy Spirit.
So, the greater our hearts for God, the easier our giving life becomes, not struggling! Peter said, we have left all and we have followed Thee. So, there is none who has left all like you did who will not have a hundred folds in this time and in the life to come, life everlasting! Matthew 19:27-29.
We have left all, that is Peter speaking, Judas never said that. Peter was speaking, his heart! And that was repeated three times Matthew 19:27, Mark 10:28-30, Luke 18:28-30. I mean to get the level of leaving all at His command, you have entered into a world of fortune.
-And that’s where you are entering into.
